Too bad they can't just reprint the first books and take out any Even Piell references and drop in some other name. I mean, if they can do that with Halo and Mass Effect novels when a continuity mistake comes up, why not Star Wars?

Too bad they can't just redub the TCW episode and take out any Even Piell references and drop in some other name. I mean, if they can do that with Star Wars movies when Luke does/doesn't scream in ESB, why not Star Wars TV episodes?

So Haninum Tyk Rhinann is the rebel freedom fighter, not Starkiller. [face_sigh]
And no Even Piell retcon? The slightest hope Shaak Ti will appear in the series again is the only thing I'm looking forward to about this.

Actually it's Thi Xon Yimmon. But I understand the confusion... the names are just too similar and neither of the two is particularly memorable.
Still, I'm hoping for some real closure on the whole Jax Pavan thing from this. As much as I've enjoyed the previous Coruscant Nights books, I was always sort of dissatisfied with their half-endings and thread-dropping... what with both the Typho and the Aurra Sing plots basically going nowhere.

Ah, no I'm talking about the
Some of us were hoping it might be Starkiller 2.0 but it's actually only Haninum Tyk Rhinann, the excerpt confirms.

At this point I don't want a Piell retcon. I don't want to hear about how Jax was delusional, or Even was a clone or a shapeshifter. Better to just let it go and let it be confusing.

Which probably means the book will act like it's taking place in 1 BBY.

Nah, this time it'll act like it's in late 4 ABY and the identity of the leader of the Empire will ping-pong back and forth.

if you look at the casualties in the jedi purge more jedi survived then died. (by that i mean there are more characters from the eu that survived then died.) if you take all the early eu sources into account there are over 20 jedi around during the original trilogy.

Since when is this a paperback? I thought that when it was originally announced (as Coruscant Nights IV) that it was supposed to be a hardcover...

    Sounds cool.

I've always liked Coruscant Nights and its fun to see TCW getting a taste of its own retconning medicine. :p

Can't wait for this book I love the Crouscant Nights series. I really liked Jax, Den and I-Five.
