Amph The LEGO Movie

So, I might actually have to go see this one. When I first saw the preview, even though I've always loved Lego, it looked like something I might see in a couple years on Netflix. Then, today, I thought I'd check and see how it's doing on Rotten.

So itt we, like, talk about the Lego movie. And stuffs.

 

It looks pretty cool. My family has been looking forward to it since we've seen the preview with every kids move that has come out since summer. Should be a lot of fun!

I run a movie theatre and screened it for me and my little guy a couple of nights ago. I was expecting usual kiddie fare...but it was actually really good and heartwarming. There's also a really funny SW cameo with Billy Dee Williams as Lando & Anthony Daniels as C3PO. Liam Neeson is also funnier than hell in it. I was surprised, it's a great little movie.

 

Looks fairly funny, but is it worth the over-infalted ticket prices?

I still have not seen the movie. No time today or tomorrow. Will probably go Sunday. Maybe I'll see Frozen, too. Make it an animated double feature.

 

I think I may check this movie out this weekend. I think this movie may have a lot of adult humor in it.

I was actually kinda excited when I first heard about a Lego movie. Then I watched Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out and I thought it was pretty bad even by direct to video standards and my enthusiasm went *phffft*. But now this is the best reviewed movie of the year and I'm once again curious to check it out.

 

This was really, really great. I'm hoping this stands the test of time and becomes a perennial favorite kids movie.

 

I'm really really really excited to see this and might do a Tuesday or Thursday double feature with that and something terrible.

 

Saw this today! Simply amazing! The kids loved it!

 

I've seen clips. It doesn't look like my kind of film but it seems to be aiming for family and kids. My niece and nephew will probably like it.

 

Just saw this today, and it's awesome-the most I've laughed in months.

 

I love this. I went with three friends that I podcast with and we had a blast. It was a fantastic movie. Batman is hilarious in it and the SW cameos were also just amazing.

 

When Batman said that Bruce Wayne guy is really cool, a small girl behind me said,

Hey buddy, you are Bruce Wayne. I laughed my butt off.

 

Based on the off-the-charts 97% Tomatometer, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. It was good enough to keep you amused if you have to watch it with your kids, but I certainly wouldn't put it in the Toy Story category of animated films that adults, alone, can unequivocally enjoy. The only part I thought was laugh out loud funny was the bit with Batman and Han/Lando.

Complete with the little break in the helmet - now that's attention to detail. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't come out in Australia for another two months.

 

I laughed a lot at the trailer, not that that means much
But given I don't have to pay to see it, I will go as soon as I can.

 

I just saw it. I think its great, hilarious. However, live action parts were way too sappy.

 

Just saw the trailer for The Second Part and everything is definitely not awesome.
