It might be useful trying to contact some of the old members that were here at one point and seeing if they have any views on how London could change or why the dont post much

For example, people like Fizzbin & Fal-Zon came to the Marathon and the John Williams concert, but have not been seen since. Maybe they were put off this place for some reason, and that reason should be addressed

I am still working on an idea to get more foreign visitors. The Swedes and Aussies and the odd Yank that used to be here often, but not anymore.
It may be that they are unable to come online as much, but it could be another reason

    looks at decorations

Thats some nice looking stuff
All we need now is some tacky christmas music

Hi Pete, have a great Christmas over on the other side of the pond :D

And you'd be most welcome to come for a London meet Phil :D
I'm also trying to see about going to the Collectormania at the GMEX and the Laser-Quest meet is creating a small gathering which is great.
Over Christmas I will try to brainstorm some ideas on how we can really get things moving over here.

Seeing as you've let Wiz in here - /me wipes his feet on the welcome mat.

Guy's you have one of the most densely populated areas on the planet as your catchment you just need to get yourselves out there, ok things are always going to be quiet because of Christmas/New Year and no new movie on the horizon, to paraphrase Happy Ninja 'Profile, profile, profile'.

Oh and having a member actually show up to a meet would be a great idea, unlike the Alton Towers meet last year that was highjacked by the Midlands and the North because no one from London was there, get it into gear guys and as Phill has said we're all here to help if we can.

/me raises his glass to the bright future of the FF-UK and all it's chapters.

Do they know they are twinned with us?
Follow the link and then click on their twinned link.
It does not lead back here.

    J20 please barkeep :D

We are definitely twinned - there was a problem, but that was our end, which is why I didn't announce anything earlier. However, seeing as its in our board header, I guess our problem has been resolved! The NY chapter *was* twinned with Inland Empire, but they've been dead for a while, so NYC have been looking for a new twin - and who better than London :D

As for helping tourism, I agree completely Richie - can just see the throng of NY SW fans rushing heathrow in the New Year.....:p

    EDIT: Cheers Lord_wiz - don't worry, 'tis a new thing ;)

Too long have we waited for this place to be respected around the FanForce world

I think it can now start along that path

It would be good for the London board to thrive, we are the capital after all.
Unfortunately I have been popping in and out of the New York board for a few months now and it seems less active than here!
Let us hope we can breath some life into each others boards.

    *Salutes*
    I will do my best.

A classic british sci-fi show which has had many incarnations.
    Some good, some bad.
From what I hear the last series to air was superb and the new series is following suit.
Unfortunately I have never been a big Doctor Who fan.

Check it out in google, I am sure it has a wealth of info on him there.

    Drink?

You will learn the ways of Doctor Who this summer Pete ;)
Assuming everything goes to plan :p

I think I've managed to aid Jule's questions too, and I will send her the second half of the new series ASAP :D Expect more questions guys ;)
Definitely worth checking out too Jimbo. The new ones are a lot more universal for all to enjoy and they spent real money on them this time.
