It's actually done since a few weeks. You can find it in the tutorial listing in the sticky threads.
But I'm afraid the pictures aren't working any more; so you're gonna need this tutorial-version too because it contains the required pictures: http://www.psw-films.de/forum/thread.php?threadid=20&sid=

Yeah, I've been wondering how to do that in AE. Didn't you say your friend did it with AE without a problem? Ask him what he did or something.

What song/remix did you use for the clip? Is it possible to get it from somewhere?

    Thanks

Sorry if I was unclear, I meant for the whole movie from beginning to end. I was wondering whether it was a remix or actual song, and if it would be possible to get. If not, that's fine.

You might want to PM Mae or Thrice about that.

The song is remixed completely in the Special Edition. I took the original song and re-worked it from my own perspective.
I had also mixed a version "Battle of the Heroes" together for RvB, but we took a vote, and the majority decided to keep the song used.
I think Thrice or someone else I worked with might have a test copy of the song, maybe we can post it up just to watch anyway..

Mae, I think you did a excellent job on the sound for RvB. That's one of my favorite things about RvB.

    Nice, thanks for enjoying it.
Once I get ahold of either Thrice or Vapor, I can probably get the other version up

    I'm having problems installing "Keylight"

I click on the setup icon and nothing comes up. Any suggestions?

Here's a littel FX Test I did. I did not do the rotoscoping but I did do the glows/colors and flashes. Tell me what you think.

the sabers need to be blurred a bit.

    [quietly]they look like ILM's sabers[quietly/]

Amazing! Though, if I may follow the nitpickyness of this forum, there are two minor blade layering mistakes. The sabers are in front of the protagonists while they should be behind them. Once between 00:04 and 00:005 and the other time around 00:08.

What I wanted to ask you, how did you create the outstanding lighting reflections when the clash lights up the protagonists? Did you select an outline of the surrounding character or actually light it while filming. Be as detailed as possible, please! :)
    Great stuff!

I've already said I didn't do the rotoscoping but yes I have noticed that.

For some reason the matte's did that. Ya, I didn't like how the glows came out, either.

Batkins, to run the .exe to install keylight you must go start>Accessories>Command Prompt and type in the directory eg:
    C:\MyDownloads\keylight.exe hit enter

The glow looks good, but I think the color has too much white in it, near the core basically.
Looks to me that there is too much of a white coreglow, and the blue should be more firm. RvB had occasions like this, with a bright white coreglow.
Personally I have been working with Revenge Of The Sith glows and color lately, so maybe you're hearing that part of my head right now, hehe :)
But the overall appearance of the video looks good.
