LOL @ ND indeed, though LOLing @ Michigan was much more fun.

Interesting how the boosters aren't yelling for Charlie's job, like they did with Ty.

Yet. How about when they're 0-8?

 

So, about that 2-0 start to Big Ten play ...

The Michigan football team could face Big Ten sanctions for using a player who was ineligible under conference rules.

Athletic director Bill Martin said at halftime of the game at Northwestern that he wouldn't rule out any disciplinary action at this point, even the forfeiture of last week's Michigan victory over Penn State.

Martin said the athletic department made a mistake in the interpretation of the league rules regarding the mid-season enrollment of freshmen in the case of Artis Chambers. Chambers, who's from Indiana, arrived at Michigan in January.

The mistake was discovered Thursday, and the school immediately began discussions with the conference. Martin said he expected a resolution in the coming weeks.

Chambers, a safety, played primarily on Michigan's special teams. He saw action in each of the Wolverines' first four games.

Chambers did not travel to Evanston with the team. He will not play the rest of the season, but will remain enrolled at Michigan and can practice with the team, Martin said.

AS an ND Alum, I can confirm that there is nothing better than lol'ing at Michigan. Except maybe USC. Or back in my day (late 80s) Miami. It's all good.

0-4, on the other hand, sux.

Inty: So, if you could have one of the following: OSU wins the National Title the next five years in a row, or Michigan is guaranteed to go winless and will never win a title in your lifetime. Which do you choose?

Mrs. Inty: (no time gap) Michigan sucks, they don't get to win.





So, yeah, this is a good day.

Wow, that's true hate. Though I think I'd wish the same upon Texas.

Absolutely. Given the choice to overturn nothing, or both of the last two National Title Games AND the App State game, I think we'd go with overturning nothing. But that would be a tough call.

 

Fair enough. I might do the same with a similar choice for Clemson, but the titles would be real tempting...

 

I just asked her. She said it was close, but she'd have to go with change nothing.

 

I'd take the titles beacause that's somthing to brage about forever. Plus South Carolina is already below Clemson (not counting this year so far), we're used to looking down but SC fans can't really remember looking down on their rival.

Maybe they could try opening with Upper Sandusky Community College next year.

 

If that doesn't work, the next step would be a small high school.

 

Hy school is starting a team next year. We would like to go to the big house.

 

Michigan may have gotten a win in game #2... but it was FAR from an impressive one, except for a few minutes or so. I have a feeling there will be plenty more loling @ Michigan yet to come.
