Excellent post! I really like how you are building there relationship. Taking small steps not just suddenly having a great relationship. It's very realistic. Also, the small bits of humour really add to each post. I'm looking forward to more!

Alex certainly has a natural comforting way with him; even if he's guessing some of the time what to do, it looks like the force is with him.

My fave bit was the thrill Alex felt in discovering the small bond with Meri.

 

I like it, JKOW. I have to admit I am glad to know that you didn't leave us hanging like that on purpose!

Thanks so much, all of you. I would love to post tonight but I'm am soo tired. Its been another one of those days where I've hit the ground running and not stopped and my brain is just soo blaaa. I'll really try to get you one as soon as possible, but I just didn't want to post a non-worthy post just because I'm tired. Its not that I don't have ideas, because I do! *G*

Good snapshot! I like the "slow but sure" progress. I especially liked the part where Alex rams his whole foot into the dresser, then berates himself with "You're a master, now, Alex. Masters don't say sith." And the relief he feels when it turns out that Meri is not a messy slob like other teenagers he's heard horror stories about. I also liked the way Meri was worried he might make her cut her hair, and the deft way that Alex says the right thing at the right time. More soon?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I've been stuck in the freakin ICE AGES for most of the past two days!!!! Literally. We had this HUGE ice storm come through and we lost all electricity, which meant no water, and no heat, and worst of all no computer. Even now I can look outside the window and EVERYTHING is covered in ice. We finally got our electricity back today, but the lights have still flickered on and off a few times.

Ohh its been torture. So thats why I haven't posted, or even been ABLE to write. I'll get right on it. I promise!

Crap, I'll be detained longer than I thought. Electricitys out again, and we're running on generator power for a few hours while everyone takes hot showers. We can't leave it on very long though so I won't get time to post This is SOO typical that it happens during my christmas break.
