Well thanks for the info Sithflame, I could've never guessed. Harrison and Carrie...hmmm...didn't they go out after ANH and then hated each other in ESB?

 

I've never heard that before, actually. Where did you hear that from?

 

I honestly can't remeber. I'm pretty sure they didn't like each other during ESB cause of Carrie's whole drug issues. If you watch the scene when they're in the Falcon "being held by you isn't (or something along those lines)" You can see Harrison mouthing the lines to her.

 

Interesting. OK, how about Talon Karrde and Shada. There seems to be some romantic tension going on there.

I guess. I mean Karrde is very "in the moment". She's pretty tight though. But look at Luke and Mara. Ten years of being "friends" and then all of the sudden, Mara will you marry me? There should have been more lead up to that.

 

i dunno MOM... zahn left it wide open for the other authors to take over but no one ever did so when he wrote HOT duology, he had to pick up the pieces and try to save it, which i think he did really nicely cause those two books are my favs in all the EU.

 

I think there will be some moment when Karrde thinks he will surely die, and so tells Shada how he feels. Then he ends up living and learns she feels the same.

Luke and Mara had that whole joining in the force thing, so they already knew everything about each other - therefore what's the point in courting?

 

well SON, i have to agree with you...i just would have liked more build up. Zahn did save the EU though.
