    Everybody who is a BIG Lord of the rings fan can go on the following sites:

    Official Site (www.tolkien.co.uk)
    This site, maintained by Tolkien's UK pubilishers, has information on various editions and interesting artwork samples, as well answers to many questions.

    The Encyclopedia of Arda (www.glyphweb.com/arda)
    This site offers an excellent guide to the details of Tolkien's world: who's who, where's where, what's what. A superb reference.

    The Tolkien Society (www.tolkiensociety.org)
    The Mythopoeic Society (www.mythsoc.org)
    These two Tolkien groups are beyond mere fan clubs. If you look into the literary details of Tolkien's work, these organizations will interrest you.

    OneRing.Net (www.theonering.net)
    One Ring (onering.virbius.com.index.php)
    These general sites, offering news and useful links, are good starting points for a new Tolkien fans, or for serious afficionados who want to latest on the films or new editions.

    The Elvish Linguistic Fellowship (www.elvish.org)
    Ardaalambion (www.uib.no/people/hnohf)
    These sites are essnetial for anyone interested in Tolkien's languages. The Elcish Linguistic Fellowship is a good place to find others who share your interests. Ardalabion is a terrific accomplishment by Helge Kare Fauskanger.
