Hi everone, I've decided to post a fan fic about the training of the Commanders. Enjoy!:)
The making of a leader: the training of the Clone Commanders\

Unit 5052 sat in his quarters, surveying the modifications he had made to his armor. Their most recent assignment from Alpha, their ARC trainer, had been to modify their armor to suit their capabilites and preferences. 5052 had been inspired by Alpha's tales of the heroism of the ARC troopers, so he had modified his armor to resemble an ARCs. The armor had a kama, the skirtlike piece of clothings ARCs wore. In two holsters in the kama were two DC-9 pistols. Perched atop the helmet was a pair of folding macrobinoculars. Bly nodded, Alpha would probably be satisfied. He had already put on the kama and armor, now he looked at the helmet. The black eyeholes seemed so impersonal, so emotionless. Not at all like 5052, who was the joker amongst his class. He shrugged. The helmet would keep him alive. That was all that mattered. 5052 put on the helmet, and walked out to his class.
En route, 5052 encountered Unit 8826. "Hey, 26," he called.
"52." 8826 was not a very social clone. 8826 was carrying a duffel bag, he was wearing his tunic.
"Is that your armor?" inquired 5052, pointing at the bag.
    "Yes," said 8826.
    "Can I see it?"
"No!" This kind of outburst was unusual from 8826, who was usually very emotionless.
5052 raised his hands. "Sorry; no problem." 8826 nodded and continued onwards.
5052 and 8826 were the last ones to arrive. "Well, look waht the aiwha dragged in," said Unit 1138. 1138 was the bully amongst his class, aggressive, tough, and eager to kill some Separatists. 5052 didn't like him. None of them did.
"If you're all done bickering," said a voice, command evident in his tone. This was Alpha, their ARC trainer. The class instantly quieted; they all respected their instructor.
"This assignment is your most important one yet. Today we will test your designs. If you succeed, you will be given a unit to command, and a choose a name like I have." Alpha's eyes narrowed. "If you fail, you will die."

Next post will be tomorow. See you around!

Ok...usually it would be good to give us a feel of the story and not just a title.

    Part Two

Everyone stared at Alpha until Unit 2224 broke the silence. "Ha, ha," laughed 2224 nervously. "You are joking, sir?"
"No," replied Alpha. "I'm not. The Kaminoans don't see the need for an inept commander. If any of you flunk, you will be terminated. I tried to prevent this, but the orders came from Lama Su himself."
There was an uncofortable silence. Then Unit 1004 raised his hand. "Sir, how will we test our armor?"
Aalpha smiled grimly. "The kaminoans managed to work the termanation order into the tests. Your first test will merely be showing of the armor to the class, so they can see your aestheitc talent. "Or," and here Alpha paused mischeviously. "Lack thereof."
Alpha looked 5052 in the face. "Since 5052 already has his gear on, he'll show us first."
5052 got up, put on the helmet and looked at the class. 2224 and 1004 were nodding in appreciation, 1138 was sneering, and 8826 was, as usual, emotionless. Alpha smiled. "It's pretty easy to see where you got your inspiration from. The class's vote? Is 5052's design adequate? Everyone who thinks it is, please raise your hand." 2224, 1004, and 8826 raised their hands. "Everyone who doesn't please do so." 1138, predictably, raised his hand. Alpha looked at 5052. "Congratulations, you pass part one. 1004, please come up."
By this time, the trainees had put on their armor, and 1004 was already standing. He hadn't really modifyed the armor, except for painting it in a green camofluge color, and adding a communications antenna on top. Alpha looked at it. "Simple, yet effective. Votes please." 2224, 5052,and 8826 voted yes. 1138, again, voted no.
"2224, please come up." 2224 had drastically modified his gear. Hhe had placed a visor above the viewscreen of his helmet, and hadded a modified version of an AT-TE crewmember's pads on top, and an antenna and a targetting rangefinder bracket the designs. He had thickend the shoulder pads, and had added a comm antenna on his right one. His armor was, apart from that, unchanged. Except for one thing. Oon the back of his armor was a rocketpack, something rarely used by the clones. This time, everyone, including 1138, voted for him.
8826 was next. His only noticable change was to make his helmet identical to that of a clone assasin's, and add a bandoleer and a pauldron. Tjis time, everyone but 1138 voted for him.
1138 was the last one. He wore a kama, and his helmet had reinforced cheekplates and an antenna. On his shoulder was a pauldron. Personal realtionships aside, everyone had to admit it was an effective design.
As 1138 sat down, Alpha got up to the front of the room. " Congratulations, you all pass. The next part though, starts the possibility of death."

    Enjoy, everyone.

Yeah. In Episode three, and Clone Wars 22, Cody has this little thing on his back that has two nozzels. In Clone Wars Twenty Two, we see it is a jetpack.

    Part three.
Unit 8826 stood in the Killing House. Next to him were Units 5052 and 2224. The Commanders would be going in in groups of three. ALpha's voice sounded in 8826's helmet: "Your HUDs should be going active now. Your comrade 1004 is being held at the top of the Killing house by several Separatist droids. Captured droids will be policing the area. Good luck." Indeed, 8826's HUD was starting up. A wire-frame map materialized in the upper right-hand corner. A red dot represented their objective, the captive 1004, and a blue dot represented the squad.8826 was using the DC-15 blaster, as was 2224. 5052 was armed with a DC-15 rifle, and two DC-17 pistols. He was leading the squad. He raised one hand and gestured forward with two fingers: Move out. The squad moved forward. 8826 nervously raised his rifle and stepped forward.
5052 nervously scanned the hallway, looking for droids. That was when a red dot flared in his helmet: something was aiming for him. A blaster bolt shot up the hall, and 8826 and 2224 jammed their blasters on full auto and blazed away. Down on one knee, 5052 snapped off shots form his rifle. They heard an electronic "dwaa!" and the sound of machinery hitting the floor. 5052 and the rest crept forward. Up ahead was a demolished battle droid. 5052 sighed in relief and stepped forward.
Ahead was a stairwell. He gestured for '26 and '24 to keep their rifles ready, and crept up the stairs. At the top of the spiral staircase was a balcony. "Perfect sniper spot," thought 5052. No sooner had he thought this that a pair of Super Battle droids appeared abovw, arm cannons blazing. 5052 swore, "Fierfek!" And brought his rifle up, adding his fire to '26 and '24's. They demolished one droid. 5052 was angling his rifle to shoot the other one when the red light flared in his helmet. A shot lept from the droid's cannon and slammed into his chest. As 5052 flew backwards, he knew he was dead.

    Part 4
8826 and 2224 saw 5052 fly backwards. '24 continued pumping laserfire into the SBD, motioned for '26 t provide medical assistance. 8826 raced to where 5052 had hit the ground. A large hole had been punched in his armor, just below the chest. '26 was no medic, but he did know basic medical assistance. He got to work on 5052, patching up the wound with a bacta patch. 2224 raced over, having eliminated the other SBD.
    "Is he okay?" inquired 2224.
8826 turned to face him. "He'll be okay. We better cover him as best we can."
    "Right."
8826 injected 5052 witha stim. The Clone awoke. "I'm alive?"
    "Just barely," said 8826.
    "Right. let's move out."
The team continued to walk through the Killing House, surveying their virtual maps for guidance. They demolished on Battle Droid after another. After walking for quite some time, they found their objective. 1004 was shackled to a chair. Flanking him were two MagnaGuards.
The two Magnas raced into action, whirling their staffs. 2224 rocketed into the air, gun blazing on full auto. 88826 and 5052 had scattered for cover, but the MagnaGuards were turning this into run-and-gun fight. 2224 had managed to blow one's head off. A single shot to its backup photoreceptor put it out of commission.
The other one had forced 8826 to his knees, and was drawing back its staff for the killing blow.

    Part 5
8826 rolled as the electrostaff smashed into the floor next to him.2224 and 5052 blazed away, diverting the droid's attention. 8826 drew his pistol, and set it to single shot, channeling all the tibanna gas into a single blast. The shot blew into the Magnaguard's backup processor. 8826 reloaded another cartridge. The guard swiveled its crimson eyes to face him. 8826 fired off his shot. The droid was decapitated. 8826 saw the stun cuffs break off 1004. Then the staff smashed into him.
The Coammander trainees, sans 8826, stood in the med center of Tipoca City, praying that 8826 recuperated. Alpha took one look at the Clone, floating in the bacta, then looked at 5052 and 2224. Their armor was off, and hey were looking worriedly at their comrade. The electricity discharged by the electrostaff had used the electronics of 8826's armor as conduits, shocking the clone into unconciousness. An FX-7 medical droid, along with a 2-1B, were monitering the tank and the patient. The 2-1B turned to Alpha and said, "The patient has received a severe amount of elctricity, but will live. ALpha breathed in relief.
Two days later, after 8826 recuperated, the trainees stood in Tipoca City's assembly hall. Alpha stood at the podium. "Will trainees 8826, 2224, and 5052 please come up?" The three clones stood, and walked to the podium. Alpha looked at them. "Congratulations, ner vode. You have passed your test. I will assign you a unit, and you will chose a name. 8826, your talents have been in scouting and stealth ops. You will receive command of the 91st recon wing. 5052, you are a great leader, and can easily move form one mission to the next. You also have skills with advanced technology. You now command the 327th Star Corps. 2224, you have a love for aggressive tactics, and you have a fair amount of special ops skills. To you, I give the 212th Attack Battalion. And now the moment you have all been waiting for. The time has come to choose your names." Alpha turned to the watching trainees. "Drumroll please." The trainees banged n their seats for a few minutes. Alpha held up a hand indicatign for them to stop. "8826, what is your name?"
    8826 considered it. "Neyo, sir."
Alpha smiled. "Pleased to meet you, Neyo." He turned to 5052. "5052. what is your name?"
    "Bly, sir."
"Glad to hear it, Bly. 2224, your name?"
    "Cody, sir."
"Thanks very much, Cody. Let's give 'em a hand!" The trainees applauded. Bly, Cody, and Neyo all took bows. "All right said Alpha, let's get some rest."
The clones all trooped out, congratulating Neyo Bly and Cody on a job well done.

    Next: 1004 and 1138's test!

SWEET!!! One thing, you said "ner vod". That means "my brother". However, since i think Alpha was talking to all 3 of them, "ner vode" would be better. ( my brothers)
