JCC The Man of Steel soundtrack reminds me of Twin Peaks

You know those two notes that are repeated all the time that function kind of like Superman's signature? Yeah. The Twin Peaks opening theme pops up in my head every time.

I would agree or disagree with you, but that would mean having to sit through a Zach Snyder movie.

I will only say Badalamenti's score for Twin Peaks is sublime.

 

Oh, you should listen to the soundtrack irrespective of the film, though. I also found the film mediocre, but the soundtrack is really good. Perhaps a better soundtrack than the film itself deserves.
