She is. And Kingpin in supposed to be white. Personally, I don't have a problem with the actors they chose. I love MCD and the girl from "Alias" should do a really good job.

Elektra Natchios is Greek. Anyway, so far the movie looks good. Nothing about the plot has been revealed but, from what I hear, the director, Mark Steven Johnson, likes DD almost as much as Sam Raimi does Spider-Man, and we all know how good his movie was. Affleck is also a huge DD fan. Wizard magazine 135 has 20 new DD movie photos, if you are interested.

Don is correct, Elektra is Greek.
The plot of the movie is just a retelling of
Matt Murdock's adventures as Daredevil. It's VERY true to the comic...well besides the afore mentioned continuity errors.

Colin Farrell looks different with that bulleye on his head. I really don't care much for Ben though.

Any movie that has Colin Farrell in it is worth seeing. Except for Velvet Goldmine, that is. But I'm not even gonna go there, even though I think Eric might like it. It seems like his kind of movie (i.e. lots of sex).

At least Marvel is finding people who have respect for the material when they agree to bring it to the big screen.

    Batman, and Batman Returns...horrible
Anything after Superman II..."you are dead to me" (maybe parts of Superman IV...but few)
SPAWN...I truly believe I was in hell with him (while the movie played)

While I've enjoyed "Birds of Prey" they're assuming viewers know every little detail from the comics.

Who is going to be the next villian Kingpin brings against DD...J-Lo?

He was the reporter who was sent to research where that guy went. He was also Ewan McGregor's lover. You saw that movie? Could you actually sit through it. Jess and I got almost done with it, but we really weren't paying attention to it. I think that it's the worst movie that I've seen in my entire life. I could detect no plot whatsoever, and I was extremely glad that Jess's mom fell asleep and didn't get to watch it with us.

"Batman" is an awsome movie. I have no idea what you are thinking. And parts of Superman IV were good? When was the last time you saw a doctor? I think you need to see a specialist.

Quoting Krash "Batman, and Batman Returns...horrible"

    WHAT?!?!?!?

Those movies owned!!! Michael Keaton was Batman...anyone who thinks otherwise can just go to...well, use your imagination.
The first Batman I have fond memories of too...as far as I can remember it was like the first R-rated movie (I think it was R) I ever went to...or something like that. But anyways...those movies are classic. Now Batman Forever and Batman and Robin...now that is poodoo on top of poodoo...just plain stinky.

Now that Batman has been brought up, I'll say something.

I am reminded of a quote about franchises, "Only the last movie in a series loses money."

Batman (I) - at the time I thought it was fantastic, now I just see too many thing wrong with it. Joker is the only reason I watch it now.

Batman Returns - Much better. Much closer to the comics. Tim Burton was on the right track, but I think DC held the reigns a little too close.

Batman Forever - Ugh. Not the worst in the series, but not the best. Val Kilmer was not believeable as Batman OR Bruce Wayne. They shoulda paid Keaton the money he asked for. They might still have a franchise if they did.

Batman & Robin. True Story. When I went to see this in the theater (I knew it would be bad, I just wanted to see HOW bad it could be), at one point I threw my drink at the screen. Horrible. I could watch that movie scene by scene and point out every single flaw (comic book related) simply because each scene has something wrong with it.

If I ever ran into Joel Schumacher on the street, I swear I'd pop him one in the mouth and say, "That was for Bob Kane, you HACK!" It shouldn't phase him cause I'm sure that kind of thing happens to him all the time.

Back to the topic - DD should be pretty cool. :D
