All right, that's it, I've had it. Since MK has not provided us, after *numerous* requests by several people, with an official Comic-Con weekend report, I have taken it upon myself to create the "Master-Kenobi Unexcused-Tardy Comic Con Report MAD LIB." You know how it goes, you fill in the blanks, and then I'll plug it in to a generic Comic Con report. Please post replies referencing the 23 items below. And no, MK, you are NOT allowed to participate, you had your chance for a month and blew it, so now you must suffer! I'll give everyone until like Thursday or something, depending on how good the answers are. I'll pick the best one based totally on my subjective snarkiness and creativity of the answers given. If people want to enter more than once, that's cool too, if you think of better answers. So here goes:

    1. Hour of day
    2. Make of car, truck, RV, etc. (ANY car will do)
    3. Number
    4. Something you do at a hotel.
    5. Something you do in a hotel bedroom (BE CREATIVE!!!)
    6. Star Wars costume piece.
    7. Generic costume piece.
    8. External body part (AGAIN, CREATIVITY REWARDED!)
    9. Number
    10. Number
    11. Name of any movie at all.
    12. Breakfast food.
    13. Any male Star Wars character, from any movie (the more creative, the better).
    14. Any collectible item.
    15. Number.
    16. Large dollar amount.
    17. Another collectible.
    18. Small dollar amount.
    19. Dollar amount.
    20. Number
    21. Name of any other movie at all.
    22. Dollar amount.
    23. Dollar amount.

Of course I'm evil...I'm Mr. Cotton's Parrot (say it like, "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow...") but with ruffling of feathers instead of a swagger...

You are not going to be disappointed with those answers!

My friend Joy wants to weigh in...she did go to the con, but is not a SW geek (gasp!) yet thinks the Mad Lib is a great idea. I certify I have told her NONE of the review. Here are her responses:

    1. Hour of day: 2:17 a.m.
    2. Make of car: Lamborghini Countach.
    3. Number: 359.
    4. Something you do @ a hotel (she wants to know why this sounds like Family Feud): Lose money in the vending machine and then pound on it while screaming in impotent rage.
    5. Something you do in a hotel room: Mastication (look it up).
    6. SW costume piece: Darth Vader mask.
    7. Generic costume piece: Fairy wings.
    8. External body part: Rear end. (isn't she delicate?)
    9. Number: 19.
    10. Number: 412.
    11. Name of any movie: "Gone with the Wind."
    12. Breakfast food: Captain Crunch.
    13. Any male SW character: Darth Vader.
    14. Collectible item: Harrison Ford's empty Viagra bottle from the tabloids.
    15. Number: 72.
    16. Large dollar amount: $27,502.
    17. Another collectible: Samuel L. Jackson bobblehead.
    18. Small dollar amount: $9.95.
    19. Dollar amount: $750.00.
    20. Number: 189.
    21. Name of any other movie: "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo."
    22. Dollar amount: $72.00.
    23. Dollar amount: $5,000.25.

I wouldn't know, I don't eat it -- I'm very selective about my sugar-bomb cereals. Best performance of his to date was in the Waco-style cereal-mascot shoot-out on one episode of "Robot Chicken." Awesome!

At three in the morning, behind the wheel of her Delorean, Master Kenobi arrived at the Best Western. She took four carts of costume pieces to her room, and changed out of her street clothes, only to find sheâ??d forgotten to pack her obi. With her left hand, she pulled out her lightsaber, and gave a one-two chop with it to check itâ??s balance and settled down to watch, â??Paycheck,â?? but she fell asleep before the movieâ??s end.

The next morning she had eggs with buddy Kai, in her Revan costume, who was showing off her new Frodo mug, number 534 in the collection. The receipt for breakfast showed a $2,225 dollar balance due, as it was laid near Master Kenobiâ??s signed photo of Ewan Mcgregor. Master Kenobi called the waitress back over and in moments a new receipt as handed to her for only $22.25, a good $2202.75 than the previous check.

Later in the day, Master Kenobi, and Kai, passed a group of 8friends dressed in costumes from, â??Pirates of the Caribbean.â?? They decided to follow the group who were headed to the dealerâ??s room. On a nearby table, once they entered, Kai found a copy of a videogame she didnâ??t have for $35.00, and Master Kenobi found it for $30.00.

In all, they had a good day at Comic Con.

Okay, um, yes, that's great, I liked it, but you see, *I* have the story. You just give the words, phrases, numbers etc. that 'fill in the blanks.' I plug those into the rest of the story, the body of which which will be exactly the same for everyone, except for those portions of answers that each person provides (That's a "Mad Lib"). Sorry, I just thought everyone pretty much knows what this game is. But please do take another look at the list, and add some more info, and I think you won't be disappointed! Thanks!

Okay, since Smilin Sid and some other REALLY snarky people, of whom I expected GREAT replies based on past posts, have completely fallen down on the job, and I have to go out of town tomorrow, the Mad Lib contest is over, and KAI WINS (not only by default, but hers was really funny). Joy only did hers because she thought it was a cool idea.

So KAI VANDEKAR is the winner of the Mad Lib contest, and may claim as such.

Here are Kai's and Joy's Mad Lib reports:

Master-Kenobi?s Official And Unexcused-Tardy Comic-Con Report MAD LIB
    BY KAI VANDEKAR

Master-Kenobi and Siri-Tachi left their house at 5:45 AM and drove in their fabulous Dodge Ram, 5-3/4 hours to get to San Diego. The first thing they did when they got to the hotel was play elevator tag. Then they braided her pirate goatee (note: points docked for which ?her? not explained ? would have been double points if Siri?s)

Upon unpacking, they discovered to their horror that they had forgotton Master K?s stormtrooper codpiece, and had to make do by gluing colored contact lenses to M-K?s left earlobe. This seemed to work OK, as nobody noticed, the entire weekend.

After waiting in line 37 hours to get their badges, they saw 5 people they knew and all went to dinner.

On ?Say Anything? Day, M-K and Siri went to the Fan Force Breakfast, but discovered when they got there that all that was left was watered-down orange juice and stale Eggo Waffles. Later, MK was excited to find that the guy who played ?Lobot? would be personally autographing Snakes on a Plane keychains, so MK stood 4,700 hours in line to get one. Siri thought she got a deal by paying $758 for a 501st Stormtrooper with optional add-on attitude, but was chagrined to find the same thing for only 47 cents in another booth an hour later.

Having spent $22 on cruddy SDCC food, MK and Siri waited only a mere 60 hours in line to get into the ?The Wrath of Khan Spectacular,? which basically was a waste of time, really only telling everyone what they already knew anyway.

Having run up a minibar tab of $1.99, it was time for MK and Siri to bid goodbye to San Diego, with the promise of bringing $14.95 more money next year.

You see Master K!! You see what happens when you don't post the official report?

(Of course some of this is probably not far from what actually happened ;) )
Nah, the real story was full of much more adventure and intrigue and danger.

But just having fun and sitting back watching the responses.

Oh yeah, like Hawkie said... there were "fun" moments. (Backwater Idiots..ya just gotta love 'em) 99% of the convention was an absolute BLAST!!!![face_dancing]

But this was hysterical...and some of it closer to the truth than you can imagine!!! [face_laugh]

That was HILARIOUS. Actually, I think mine was the less funny of the two, but they're both very very silly. Thank you for the laugh! :)
