Amph The Micronauts

THEY CAME FROM INNER-SPACE!!!
for those of you that remember and for those of you that yearn to know, the Micronauts are truly awesome. so awesome i'll even use my shift key for them.

originating as a toy line from japan called the mego corporation, the notion of the Micronauts was shortly converted into an american comic book with the same name.

the first run of the series lasted from '79 until sometime in the early 80s. it was written by the famous bill mantlo and much of it was drawn by the man known as pat broderick. the art was good and the stories vivid. then again in the 80s the world had decided they were not finished with the micronauts, so they sojourned farther into the microverse and had themselves some new voyages.

the series eventually died in the mid-80s and was sorta recently brought back by image comics. i read a few of those, but the old ones are much better, and so is the artwork. i guess i just like the idea that it was a whole comic series based on toys and action figures. they did come from innerspace after all.

Heh, I do know. Not a Micronaut fan really, I'm an overall comics fan. The Micronauts were good, though.
