Hello StL !

I am currently working on reviving the Mid-west Newsletter aka the Mid-Rim Tribune. Basically the letter tells about the happenings of all the Midwest Fan Forces (events, status changes, hierarchy changes, big news etc) and more general news for the entire midwest and Fan Force. You can find an example of an old newsletter here.

I will post the link to the new newsletter here when it's done.

I'm from the FF Madison ("Mad Ison Cantina"). Just to let you know.

Is this a monthly or a quarterly newsletter?
When is the dealine for providing additions to the coming newsletter?

We currently don't have anything scheduled as of yet, but we are working on several things to be scheduled.
Since August is almost upon us, I was thinking that our submission of events might come late for your newsletter.

Anyway, I think it's a fine idea to revive this newsletter.

 

I guess I should have posted this as well. I'm thinking monthly or bi-monthly newsletters, but it depends on Darth Real Life, you know?

The sooner you get the info to me the better, but I can edit the newsletter as many times as I need so if it's late it's no biggie.

 

That sounds like a really good idea. I didn't get the letter originally, but I wouldn't mind one like this.

 

It's on its way JCF. Hopefully by the 1st. Be sure to look at it closely too, you might find some "cameos" in there

What was that about Chicago Force with the LOTR movie thing? It said STL force tried and failed the test? What ...getting tickets for the Trilogy Tuesday? Or did I miss something?

Looks good! Informative. It's interesting to see what the other groups do. I just gotta say that I love the name "Hoosier Daddy, Luke".

 

No we tried to watch all 3 in one day and wasn't able to finish TTT.

 

I don't think I could do the whole LOTR thing in one day, I would get too ancy and recreate the Amon Hen battle in the living room or something...

A Star Wars Trilogy showing I could do though...

That was the Chicago SW Meetup...maybe they joined theirs together too...OR they're making plans to destroy it... ;/

 

Oh... I see. I don't know much about that one. You could hop over to Chicago and see if they have something up about it. All my Chi-town info comes straight from their event emails and there isn't always a lot of info on things.
