What's been happening with your FanForce all year? What have been the exciting things that have happened? Favorite memories? Inside jokes that no one else understands? I'd love to hear about all of your fun stuff!

I'd also love to hear any suggestions, ideas, or even complaints* you have.

In 2007 Kansas City (Heart of the Alliance):

    * Held the 4th annual Bantha BBQ and the 2nd annual Autumn Ewok Roast BBQ, both of which were as well attended as always. They remain our "signature" KC events.
    * Were featured on TV, local Fox affiliate Channel 4, for our activities around the R2-D2 mailboxes, including a parade across the city's famous Country Club plaza (with many members in costume) and mailing money to charity Harvesters and thank you letters to George Lucas.
    * Had 10 members + family and friends attend Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles, and spend a LOT of time socializing together inside and outside of the con.
    * One of our members at the con spent most of his time as the official 'caricature' artist in the Family Room at CIV, and received massive kudos from LucasFilm.
    * At KC's annual PlanetComicon, once again had a table with info and games and provided costumed 'security' along with the 501st and Rebel Legion. Also inducted David Prowse as an honorary member.
    * Had tables at two other local conventions: Mo-Kan Comics Conspiracy and Free State FreeCon, with our above-mentioned artist drawing free for guests at our tables. We (along with the local 501st garrison) had HotA's name on the official t-shirts for the FreeCon as 'special guests'.
    * Held the 3rd annual Holiday Party, and for the third year collected goods for needy families, as well as eating and having a white elephant gift exchange.

Plus the usual assortment of meetings, movie and game nights, costume/prop nights nearly every weekend, and impromptu gatherings of friends.
