I suppose that as DS is A4 size, any bigger fanzines would be stupid!!

When is tim planning to get the next fiction special out? I have almost finished a story, but I do not know who to send it to!

I will be asking the literature forum to have a read, as there is a slight tribute to them in the story, and they have debated the topic of the story often enough.

I am hoping to get the current issue of DS to the printers by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, the London trip was our first official MK meet. Um? MK FanForce meeting in London? Something not quite right!

Perhaps after the New Year, we should have a joint meet somewhere in the middle

However, the only place I can think of in the middle between London and MK is Watford! And who would want to go there?!

 

I've never been to Watford - guess that's a good thing then

Okay, our second "official" meet of the MK FanForce group will be Saturday 16 November at Memorabilia. So far myself and Paul (Voren) are attending, so we need a few more!

Memorabilia is at the NEC in Birmingham on 16th & 17th November. It is easy to reach by train, with Birmingham International adjacent to the NEC.

Tickets, which it is best to buy in advance, can be purchased on-line at http://www.thenecgroup.co.uk.

We'll be meeting at some point during the day at the event. I've attended Memorabilia for about the last 2-3 years and it has always been an enjoyable day out. Memorabilia is a great place to get those hard to find items, Star Wars or otherwise.

I've never been to Watford either but I've heard bad things... Its on my list of places that should be forgotten about like Bognor Regis, Slough and Coventry

 

I've lived in Slough - well, Burnham actually. It does have a nice cinema complex and...er, it's near Windsor

as of yet,nothing.
usually my wife performs at southend fire station so we go along to that but this year they're having an irish band (i think) so we may go to that-loadsa chicks,dirt cheap alcohol...either that or no doubt some of our friends moght do something so we'll probably descend on them...
there are some of the DS groovy gang coming down so there'll be a few of us but other than that...
if you hear of any good partys in the meantime...

Actually I was reading yesterday that Christchurch is officially the "oldest" place in the country. Apparently a third of its population is of pensionable age

 

Really? Wow. I would say the same for Cirencester. I dated a lad from there once - his father was a funeral director and a very rich man indeed!
