Brandon McCarthy has really pitched well since being dealt to the Yanks. I have to give them credit for that one. I'm glad I picked him up in fantasy. Got 40 points from his start today.

It's terrible enough for the despicable Giants to have won 2 World Series since 2010, while we're in a drought (ha!) here in L.A., but to add another perfect game -Cain in 2012-, where we're also in a drought (ha! ) in that regard as well here in La La Land? I can't handle that.

Normally I wouldn't pay any attention to this, for the Umbragebacks aren't worth the time, but man, they just can't seem to let go of that Dodgers pool "incident" from last September over there in Phoenix.

The Rangers had a major injury bug, so take that out, and they are still a good team. I'm surprised, to say the least. Obviously he/management didn't see it that way.

And that's the price of past success.

 

I feel bad for him. He's had his well documented personal struggles, one pitch away from champion (twice, wasn't it?), and possibly more personal issues here. I hope he comes back to baseball at some point.

 

And the Diamondbacks are giving their GM the pink slip.

 

Yeah the Rangers literally had over half their team on the DL this season. No team could overcome those kind of losses, no matter how deep their farm system is.
As for the D-Backs, good for them. Towers destroyed that team.
