Nats-Cubs postponed to tomorrow. Huge break potentially for the Nats. They can pitch Strausburg on regular rest. Maddon already said Jake will start for the Cubs in Game 4.

 

Jake being gimpy might save his paint. Ditto the Cubs bat other then Rizzo and Bryant being non existent. Will see what comes of it.

 

Even regular season Dusty has been known to choke. Case in point, the 93 Giants.

that's not choking, the Braves played insanely good in the second half. 51-17 after getting Fred McGriff. The Giants were also a one year wonder. and finished the season 8-2

other than that, yeah Dusty hasn't done much in the playoffs.

No way Stephen wasn't going to pitch. Dusty was just trying to keep the Cubs off-balance.

Farrell won three division titles and a WS. But it's pretty obvious he lost the locker room and ultimately it's easier to get a new manager then it is a new roster especially when you have the talent the Red Sox do.
