Dodgers are leaving so many stranded. Just one or two hits and it would be anyone's game.

This strike zone has been pretty terrible. Not really a good look for a Game 7.

    Amazing.

If they're going to have a comeback, now's the time.

Well, that's it. Boom, game over. Two years in a row now the road team has won Game 7.

Sorry, Tunes. I'm glad the racists in Houston won, it really caps off America in 2017...

    25 left on base!

Anyway, Dodgers should be back next year (and every year they can spend $250 on payroll). My team got to the grand final of the AFL this year as well and got smashed, so I feel your pain Tunes.

Sorry for the outcome for your sake, Tunes.. But gotta admit now that I was roooting for the Astros. Largely because I want teams to keep actually developing their farm system, instead of just trying to buy rings.

It's also a great thing for the city of Houston.

Now, I'm sure the Dodgers will be back soon and that they'll get their chance again.

Carlos Correa proposed to his girlfriend live in the post game interview (she was there). She said yes.

By the way if Carlos Correa managed to play an entire game with an engagement ring then that is impressive

I rooted for the Astros for 2 reasons

    1) The only time I root for the National League team in the World Series is if Boston is in it
    2) The Astros are from my state

And as for that "buying a championship" stigma, that's a far lesser evil than the Reserve Clause.

According to him, it was in the clubhouse waiting until the final out.

I was sort of rooting for the Dodgers but I really didn't have a dog in the fight. There are players I like and players I dislike on both teams. I have a friend in Houston, so I'm happy for her. Hopefully this time next year the world will get back to normal and the Yankees will win the WS the way God and Colonel Rupert intended.

Who knew S.I. could be right? :p Hell of a tough loss for the Dodgers, of course... so, so many runners left on base; maybe Wood or Kershaw should have started instead of Darvish. Roberts had his share of questionable decisions, but there were a lot of bad Dodger at-bats too. Save for Gurriel, Houston has a rather likable team; Altuve & Verlander getting a title/rings, among others, isn’t the worst baseball story.

Still a hell of a memorable season for the Dodgers, even with this loss, and the continuing madness of their television impasse. The birthday jinx finally ended this postseason, in rather memorable fashion; a pennant was won for the 1st time since ‘88, the first for me & so many others I know of my age/around there, etc. World Series excitement before it began, and throughout enough of it. Lots of excited, interesting conversations with friends, family & co-workers about this World Series. The talent to be right there, hopefully, next season. A deserving fan base in Houston at the end of it all. Baseball really is one hell of a fun, great sport & pass time.

That's a great attitude Tunes. Sorry it wasn't it their year.

The 'stros are like the National League-iest of the AL teams though! :p

Real talk that buying rings thing is nonsense, like a bunch of LA's studs were home-grown-- Kershaw, Jansen, Puig, Pederson, Seager, Bellinger. A ton of that payroll was for dudes inactive in the playoffs.

Well, that's the 3rd case I'm aware of in which the SI Cover Curse was beaten

Emmitt Smith won Super Bowl XXVIII AND Super Bowl MVP the game after his cover appearance.

And Michael Jordan? That is by far the most self-explanatory case of beating the SI Jinx.
