The Movie and Television Character Draft: Take 4 (matches in process!)

Grievous is a typical example of a guy that's a bum.

And based solely on the arguments, I'd give it to Durro- uh... I mean Casshern.

 

He's a bum in live action, I'll agree, but he beasts in the animated series.

 

I remember being super excited for Greivous based on the spoilers I had heard and the taste of him we got in the CW series. I waited behind a guy who paid for forty signed pictures from Matthew Wood at C3 to get his autograph. He was such a let down conceptual and execution wise.

Anyway he's a decent draft pick and I see why I lost. It was a long shot. I think he wins his share of matches based on Clone Wars stuff though. I remember the intial short where he made his entrance was pretty awesome

 

One of these is giving me a headache, so I'm going to sleep on it.

Now this is quite a tough one, Jason has the uber durability, but so does Landlord, perhaps not as good but its still there. Thats even Jason would even be able to hit them. Which given the speed they can go is not likely. I can see this being a long drawn out match but...

So yeah, what exactly can the white witch do?? All she seems to do is manipulate people and lead armies. Perhaps with prep I could see her with some minions or something but yeah. Maybe Im missing something.

Probably the toughest match out of the lot of them. Everyone is prepared. Were these normal gun toating people I could see the match going to victor. But his TK wont work against lasers. Im not even considering all the other talents and things that Jango could do.

Now were Dumbledore prepped, this would be a fairly easy match. Without it, is he a good enough duellist to win this match. Given his match with Voldemort at the end of OOTP. I say yes.

I really would like to vote for R.J. He can certainly handle Bumblebee, that's not a problem, the only problem is knowing what the Doctor will be able to do here. If he can somehow disrupt the morpher, that's game over, but he has no access to one beforehand. He may need some time to figure out the right frequency or something once the match starts (he's disabled things like it before, a personal teleporter, but he had his hands on it, and he also has experience with stuff like that. He might also try improving Bumblebee. I have to think that if this were written, the Doctor would certainly come up with something, but I hate to say things like that. There are a few things I can think of that might work, but that doesn't mean they will. I guess I can't vote against him here. The Doctor

And I would have voted for Stitch.

I would like an arguement on the Power Ranger match. Also the last match.

 

Really? All of these matches are painfully easy.

First, we've already seen that particular Ranger matchup. All it took to find that was to type 'mig power rangers' into the Youtube search bar. It's one of the first things you'd see. It's actually even closer to the top if you type in 'mig operation overdrive'. So that match is a no-brainer.

And I can't think of a single reason to even consider Marcus against that trump. His only real advantage is flight. Unfortunately for him, those two have proven to have answers for an opponent that's out of their reach. He's pretty fast, but fast as he is, he's still no match whatsoever for Helen's agility. And strength? Yeah... it took a massive amount of effort for Marcus to lift that stone door towards the end of the movie. Bob, on the other hand, could quite easily lift that door with one hand. Actually, one finger is probably more accurate. Or he'd smash through with ease. Plus the trump couldn't be more cohesive. Marcus is completely and totally outclassed in every possible way.

EDIT: Even though they can't win, I'd bet good money that my boys would at least make it so Theo respects them by the time he's done. They'll find a way to get in a couple good shots on him, even if it means dropping a fighter jet on him. He might actually get fed up with trying to get them to stay down and leave in frustration. That's totally a win for my guys! Hell yeah!

I also had a whole bunch to say on that last match with The Doctor, but I suppose I'll just let that go.
