The Movie and Television Character Draft: Take 4 (matches in process!)

Yeah, I wouldn't say he's about to get any kind of an earful. Neither of those picks went anywhere near as early as ol' Eddie did. I would definitely keep the kiddies prepped, though. And Stitch... really not half bad, if not the very best available.

 

I don't think he's doing bad at all. Neo is a dynamite pick and the HP trio are monsterous prep picks. Stitch is early but I think he has allowed himself a mistake. Better than I did/do in the drafts

 

My main aim with playing this is to have some fun and MAYBE win some matches. Mainly (so far at least) going with characters I have seen the shows of. The later rounds is where I think things will become very interesting as the options get smaller, then my picks may just be because a character is cool.

 

I really don't know anything about this guy, but I had to look up Durrons first pick, and while I did I saw Cassern or whatever his name is fight off a huge army, then get owned by this pick. I know in the end the good guy probably beats him (I also saw the fight between them in the anime, where I think he was called Big Boss or something) either way this might be a good pick or god awful one, lets find out.

Burai

 

Yeah, Tetsuya had, like, just been awakened from being in stasis (or whatever you want to call it) when the Burai ownage took place. If you look at the couple minutes prior to that whole action sequence, you can see just how completely out of it he was. He gets very rudely awakened from stasis, immediately has to fight off a pretty powerful and skilled Neo-sapien, manages to win, is still in extremely bad shape, somehow gets his **** together long enough to tear up a bunch of Burai's army, and then goes up against Burai himself, who, at this point, is just too much for him.

The whole movie is on Youtube. It's worth watching. Absolutely no way Burai's a bad pick, though.

So what to do, what to do.... Yeah, I'm gonna scratch my planned 14th round pick. I just noticed that none of the last group of multi-film pairings I suggested made the list, and to really have much of any worth whatsoever on a team, he needed to be in that "trump". So that frees up one more spot and... to hell with it. I'm still not totally fond of the Transformers making it back onto the list, but if they're there, they're there. And this one is definitely awesome enough to qualify for my squad.
