I watched Memoirs of a Geisha.
    Rented it on dollar day.
It was very pretty, intersting, but very slow.
I won't spend more than a dollar on this one.

We have been watching season 3 of the cartoon Home Movies- I love it! Anybody ever seen these before? Last night the kids were at a Ren-fest with a Sci-fi convention right next to it and they had a big war of the geeks...

We watched a history of violence last night. Disappointingly low on violence. and high on long dramatic pauses, like this....

And about that exciting too. I wanted to gouge my eyes out after watching it. [face_skull]

Yeah. Movie was a major disappointment. No real action. Somebody would make the guy mad, and he'd kill them. If you blinked, you missed it. No gunplay, no explosions, no flames and people jumping out of heliochopters -- just a lot of uncomfortable pauses and crying while his marriage went down the drain.

There was a highly unusual amount of teh s3x0r, too. I really could have done without seeing Aragorn's butt. :p

I started watching season 1 of Roswell again and I am getting pretty annoyed at Liz's pouty little looks and Max's droopy slouchy shoulders and I'm only on the second episode...yep, I feel an e-bay auction coming on...

I think I missed most of the first season, but what I did see wasn't TOO bad...although watching them one after another might kill anyone.

    :D

I liked season one of Roswell.
The thing I got annoyed with is in season three they were making
Max look younger than he really is.
I thought he looked much better in The Grudge since
he actually got to look and act his age.

I watched Narina: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe last night.
Was pretty good. I grew up with the Tv shows and the books.
Defintely much better effects than that TV show had.

I just couldn't take any more Roswell last night so I watched one of those Bargain Bin ones called Swimfan. Guess what, the Roswell chick Liz is in it...and she won't even die, the bad girl tries over and over and darn it, she just can't get it done. And then the movie ended...

So then D_N_T and I just played Hunter the Reckoning for awhile and I felt alot better.

Rachel's watching 'Miss Congeniality 2' -- it has Oswald from Drew Carey in it, but I can only take so much of whats-her-face. [face_sick]

C'mon, it had the Shat-Man in it...and the deleted scenes had a good line from him, but I don't think I can post it.

    ;)

I watched Hotel Rwanda last night, it is a true story and...wow, that was convicting I guess is the word...and then I watched the special features and when they visited the site where the 45,000 refugees were executed and showed the mummified children and babies(the soldiers had poured lime in the mass grave) with machetti cuts all over them I just wanted to cry, but then I got angry because it was the French soldiers who allowed/helped it all to happen and then tried to cover it up...and only 10 years ago. And the French think they are so civilized...

We were just talking about French people at work.
I said I knew one nice one, and one of my friends
said they have to come over here to become nice.
    Scary.

I finally saw DOOM last night! I loved it! Then I watched the special feature about Doom Nation and I loved seeing all the clips from the original game and from Wolfenstein...

Yeah, it definitely helped that he was in Doom. :D

But I'm not going to be at Starfest...:_|

So, you will have to get a good look in for me and let me know if he is as good looking in person... ;)

I was actually happy with DOOM, too. People complained that it didn't follow the storyline, but they sorta had to move in a slightly different direction because otherwise it would've had a little too much Hell in it for most people.

Lord of War was a really good, twisted movie.

And I will get in a good stare for you. ;) Maybe an autograph or pic if I can.

    I watched The Skeleton Key.
It was pretty good, even though I've seen the same idea in different shows.
But I did like how they did their way of it, and it has a good twist at the end.
