The Muppets rule, just the other day I was watching Muppet Treasure Island So has Star Wars. She can act and sing far better too.
Interesting choice of song for the chickens to sing. Evidence, as if it was needed, that The Muppets isn't just for kids.
9 days to the U.S. release day! I just made plans with my brother to go see this on Thanksgiving day. Every year around Christmas for the past 10 years, he and I watch "The Muppet Christmas Carol" so this new movie will be a cool experience to share with him.
So ****ed off that this isn't released in the UK until the middle of February. They just lost themselves a cinema ticket sale because of that, and I don't mean that I'll be avoiding the film.
It is an unusual move to make, but I like the fact that I can go see The Muppets while everyone else is queing to see the stuff churned out during the awards season.
Well I'm annoyed that Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy isn't released here until December, but I'm still going to buy a ticket to it.
Is there confirmation of Dr. Teeth and/or Sam the Eagle, yet? Need to know if my midnight showing cosplay ideas will be for naught...

My childhood dream come true - but with a different Kiwi. Flight of the Conchords' Bret McKenzie & Kermit the Frog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDnTo2S2BrA
I watched it at midnight! It was very funny, had a lot of the expected Muppets humor and tons of cameos and it really felt right... ...except that the music was VERY Flight of the Conchords-y, Bret McKenzie's influence was a little too clear. I love FOTC, their music and their HBO show, but the songs (while funny on their own) just didn't fit the tone of the rest of the movie, and made it hard for the movie to gel, for me. Overall I liked it, and I'll definitely go see it again, but the songs were a bit off the mark.
We're planning on taking the boys this weekend. I was wondering how the music would go but I hoped that the negative things I'd heard about Frank Oz and other performers not liking the movie wouldn't ring true for the final film.
