The Music Tavern

I just cued the Kamino music. We are getting hammered with thunderstorms again here, and there has been a bit of flooding. We were even on The Weather Channel ? !

 

Wow nice. We're having the weirdest weather year in a while. First we had the rainiest spring ever, going all the way into July and now we've had like a week of summer weather but the next week is back to cooler temps and partly cloudy. It's not summer at all!

 

It's still pretty warm, you know.

 

Yeah but 73 in July? For a week? That's bizarre.

 

We've had a lot of rain this summer.

 

Here's my update for today:

First, it was hot here today, 89º F.

Second, I ran five miles for the first time this year. I've been doing four, but I got a good night's sleep last night and felt good today.

Third, and most important, when is Senny going to change back to his pretty blue colors?

It was very hot here in the Midwest today. I was out rehearsing in the sun on a day I stupidly decided to where jeans. Our lead almost fainted.

 

It was like 72 today. Sunny tho. I watched my brother's kids and caught part of his baseball game. Then we moved my couch to my sister's house (it's weird having no couch). Then I went with my dad back to my parents' house to see their new windows, watch a few ballgames and then have dinner. They just dropped me back off at my couchless apartment and I am listening to Pearl Jam.

EDIT: I've missed the poop brown, GK.

 

Oh yes. Brown GK is just beautiful.

Senny does not like baseball.

 

Quarter Polish, Quarter Swedish, Quarter Lithuanian, Quarter American Melting Pot "Mutt," and Quarter Sheer Awesomeness.
Which makes my kids fully Melting Pot Mutts. Granted, I only have one kid right now, but we are hoping for more, and not doing anything to prevent them.

Hmmmm... maybe that last bit was TMI...

So, working OT this week. Doesn't come often for us, so I take what I can get.

DW brought home a great surprise last week. I got home from work and found the Endor Battle Lego set waiting for me!! She found it on sale at Target. She is so cool!

 

I am 3/4 German and 1/4 mostly Swedish.

Swedish Chef! Yay!

 

Ahh, I can look forward to a wonderful meal tonight with the Chef in the Tavern.
