Nice-looking dog. Retriever?
So what's the deal with locked threads? I just posted in the supposedly locked Hobbit thread, but another ([link=[url]http://boards.theforce.net/threads/what-is-your-favorite-star-wars-track.11611824/]Favorite[/url] SW track[/link]) right next to it is truly locked.
Unlocked. That is truly weird. It's also truncated, which is being worked on.
[Sam Jackson]That's item 151 on today's glitch list[/Jackson]
OK, I just upped another locked thread (favorite ROTJ track). Am I able to to that because I started the thread?
Good question. I'll try and find out.
Sounds like more random technical glitches.
So, anything exciting going on today?
p.s. //plays "Faking The Code" on teh jukebox
Not really. Business as usual.
I may have listened to the ROTS score last night in its entirety...
Can we ban this spammer?
EDIT: Nevermind. He seems to have fixed his triple post. I've got my eye on you though.
It's just about dark now, I've been home for over 30 minutes, and I've only had four trick-or-treaters to far. Everybody must be making a last-minute costume switch from Mickey Mouse to Han Solo. My five-year-old nephew is going as Indy this year. He's got the hat, a whip and everything.
It's good to see more old familiar faces icons here in the Tavern.
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, GK?
Talkin' Star Wars. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Just posted the newest video blog...
I think you crushed too many green grapes.
Hahahah! I was not actually confused about that, I was ACTING! So our viewers might learn something they don't already know!
It's Timo! Long time no see, dude.
And that goes for GK as well.
Lots of old faces rolling in.
Hello! Did you change usernames? I seem to remember something different...
Yes, as a matter of fact I did.
This is JEDIGUNSHIP in disguise.
Gotcha. I thought so.
There once was a farmboy named Luke,
Who dreamed of worlds far from rebuke.
Uncle Owen said, "No,
I don't want you to go,
That wizard's just a crazy old kook."
That is one thing that I have to say about George Lucas and his decisions:
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!
spoiler free 'til episode...?!?
P.S. When did they redesign the forum? It weirds me out!
It's all new forum software, Windy. Also good to see you! I understand the break, as I just started posting again after a two year break.
Good to see you too, Strilo. Good to see so many familiar names around, really.
Truth be told, I was really burnt out after ROTS came out. Also, I was a little depressed. I realized that this place had become such a huge part of my daily routine and I was kind of afraid of what the future would bring once the Sith conversation dried up. I made the decision to pretty much cut ties and find other things to occupy my time, which I have been successful with. (Being married helps.)
I was actually mad when I first heard the news of the Disney acquisition. It seemed like a total sell-out move and I thought that it would have been better had George let the thing die in dignity. After having a few days to mull on it, however, I have to say that I am pretty excited to see the direction that the series and saga takes. The seventh movie (wow, feels weird to say) will be a make-it or break it-film for me. If it seems like the new blood is respectful of the saga and has a worthwhile story to tell, I am all in for this new triology. If it seems like a cynical, assembly-line cash grab, I think I'll just pretend that the saga ended with Jedi. (Just like I believe that Aliens is the only Alien sequel and The Matrix is a stand-alone movie.)
any puns about wind seem wildly inappropriate after Sandy...
Windy! Great to see you!
For your signature, how about "No-Spoiler Heaven 'til Episdoe VII"?
