We talk about anything and everything, although we've usually kept the film score discussion in the dedicated threads. We often discuss the degeneration of society due to ignorance of proper vocabulary, like the difference between "tracks", "cues", and "songs".

Sometimes we just drink grog.

The FYC soundtrack for The Last Jedi is out now.

 

OMG!

 

I haven't have a chance to listen to all of it. I believe there are at least ten minutes or more of score not found on the OST.

Unfortunately, it does not contain the Emperor's Theme from the Throne Room scene.

 

I need to get TLJ soundtrack. I'll have to look it up later. I love John Williams music (even the scores that I haven't seen the films of)

 

With the new board software upgrade, I see that we've switched back to one of my favorite classic banners. I used to put this one up all the time.

 

Yeah this banner is 10x better than the hackjob we've had for the last while. Also, it's nice to see colors back.

I've seen TLJ six times now. I was planning on seven theater viewings, to match TFA. Maybe this weekend...

I'm stuck at 4. I had tickets for #5 but my friend got called in for mandatory overtime, so I returned the tickets for a refund. Seeing The Post today. Maybe sometime this week, I will see TLJ again. I am thinking 5-6 times will work.

 

I want to see The Post, but I might wait for blu-ray.

 

It was excellent. Hanks and Streep were superb. Very good film and very relevant to our current political climate.
