You know what I saw!!! (no, not the flying Homer Simpsons in the shape of a cow or whatever )


Whew, as you all can see in the LOTR thread, I ADORE the score (Rohan Theme.... w0000h0000!!!) but I'm not so sure about the movie. :-\

It was just SO different from the book and really really didn't have to be. I'll have to see it again to really figure out my opinion on it.



P.S. Eowyn is pretty.

Yes, the Rohan Theme is cool
and yes, having a definite opinion after the first viewing is rather difficult
I focused on the complaints I read in the JC, in my second viewing, and found ways to like them


Eowyn looks kinda freaky, though, when she has that little "sword-fight" with Aragorn (which can be seen in the trailer, too)

 

Well, I'll hve to actually read the book to evaluate the differences. That will take several days at least, but I do like the score -- very powerful.

 

My mom read the whole Trilogy in 5 days!
I still can't believe that!

 

Wowzers. I read TTT in 7 days, that's the fastest I've read any of them.

But the WHOLE thing in 5 DAYS???

She's a fast reader and had not much else to do - days off from work

She read all day long, with only a few breaks and even late into the night

Anyway, I finally finished what little christmas shopping I am able to do this year... It stinks cuz I LOVE getting people gifts...

 

Well I`ve waited a while,and I`m finally seeing TTT today!

Just saw TTT.
I loved it,but it was inacurate.
I think Gandalf`s character was cut short.
Grima Wormtounge was the best new character.
Samwise Gamgee is my favorite character,and alway`s will be

 

I'd say at this point that Gandalf is my favorite character.

And I'm really getting into the TTT soundtrack today. Right now Isengard Unleashed is my favorite track.
