Saga The Mysterious Ootedey

It was another dense foggy day in the Yavin IV hanger bay. Han rushed down the stairs on the way to work looking for his speeder. Chewie! he yelled, running around the Falcon. Have you seen my speeder? He stopped abrubtly as the ship was empty. Hello? Is anyone here?. Chewie?, Leia? Where are you? Before he could do anything the door to the hanger slammed open to reveal a stranger wearing half a transponder on his head. ''Who are you?'' Han demanded ''What you you want?'' The stranger swayed from side to side, reminding Han of a drunken womp rat. ''I am here to warn you about the Oooteeedee! that is about to devour your rebel base'' said the stranger. ''Um thanks...'' replied Han, escorting him to the blastdoor. As he opened it a shadow loomed over the hanger bay door. Looking up he saw a giant bantha like creature nearing the base. He squinted at it and saw that Chewie and Leia were running towards the base, covered in bits of brown sticky mucus. 'It's going to be one of those days' thought Han as he ran forwards. The creature was too far away for him to do anything to it so as Chewie and Leia ran up the hanger ramp he ushered them into the base. ''Quick'' gasped Leia as the door closed behind them ''We have to get to the control room to raise the deflector shields''. ''Raawwwww raw raaaawwwww?'' Chewie asked as they entered the control center. ''I think it's called a Ootedey! Han replied, flipping through the database. ''Ah, here we go. How to destroy an Ootedey! '' He grabbed the datapad and went to the command center display through which the Ootedey could be seen. Han reversing the polarity of the deflector shields caused a magnetic reaction pulling the Ootedey into the force field. The giant monster vanished with a 'pop', spraying bits of itself all over the place. ''You know, this reminds me of the time when someone said I got a bad feeling about this "said Chewie. ''What does that have to do with anything?'' asked Leia as Han looked at them. ''Nothing'' said Chewie "this is all a dream anyway!''
