Horus, Heracles, Raijin - all solid, no worries.

On the beast front . . . DAMN. I was somehow hoping Fenrir would still be about for my second pick, let alone all you people's first. If not Fenrir, Jormungand. Is it too early to say there's some nasty teams assembling?

No human hero would last ten seconds against Fenrir Hrodvitnir. He has gods for breakfast. Come Ragnarok, he's in his prime - so huge that one jaw scrapes the sky while the other drags along the ground. What's Achilles/Hector/whoever going to do against a wolf a mile high?

And Jormungand; unlike his big brother, can't talk and doesn't appear to be intelligent, but is large enough to circle the world, spews poison that kills everything nearby, and takes Thor apart. Yeah. Bad news. Very bad news.

Ah, some good picks. I was hoping to get Heracles myself, but no dice.

And because of that I am going to need to find someone else to take his spot. Though I regret to inform all of you that I am leaving for work 5 minutes ago so I can't post them now. I think all of us were hoping to grab Heracles.

I would've, as there was a chance Fenrir would slip to second round, but I didn't want to take any chances. I really think Fenrir is (more or less) unstoppable.

 

He was my first choice too
