Skywalker, you were indeed correct. With KK's votes in, though, nothing changes with the seedings. So we'll leave as is and give Skywalker and Hoth a 4th crack at TLI.

    Thanks, all.

So I don't need to send in numbers for now right? I just wait or do you want them?

If the opponent you draw will dictate your numbers, then hold off. If not, you can send them to me. We'll do all 10 matches at once for the play-in, so it'll go quickly.

Agreed. Uncertain on that very first one, but not enough to hold up the draft on the playoff play in game.

So I haven't been on here since before the boards moved, randomly saw a link and decided to check it out. Nice to see the old Jedi Draft still going on and some familiar faces. And even more surprised to see that the account still works!

Some really good matches here. One match to essentially decide whether or not Skywalker can finally shake TLI in their third meeting, and potential for huge upsets in the 2 vs. 7 and the 4 vs. 5, where half of the battles are up for debate.

    ALSO KENOBI VS WINDU WOW

And an interesting match to be sure. Didn't Kota hit my other Trump last match and the consensus was that they were just not strong enough to beat him?

At first glance, I do think Kol/Wolf can finally pull me a win here. I'll get an argument up tonight if possible.

EDIT: I do find it funny that we got Dooku/Shaak Ti again though :p

I might have to hire MandaloreYak to write up the Mace vs. Obi-Wan battle. No rest for the weary after dispatching Caedus, it appears.

Actually, the commissioner of the More Taste League, whose power is even greater than my own, orders that he write up the battle.

    Okay, argument up:

2: Rahm Kota vs. Wolf Sazen/Kol Skywalker

Much like last round, this is an interesting fight. Kota is powerful to be sure, but we don't see him use said power against a Trump (like, say, Dooku or Maul). This is a slight advantage in Kol/Wolf's favor, since we can assume Kota doesn't have any experience fighting multiple blades at the same time. I'd even argue that Wolf at least (since Kol has the whole, 'killed off at the beginning' thing) has more fighting experience in general than Kota. Sure, the old man went through the Clone Wars, but its not like you had hundreds of Sith running around. Generic One Sith mooks suck, yes, but they still give Wolf more experience against other Force Users than Kota has.

Then you toss in Kol's display in his last stand. Again there is the problem of it being generic grunts, but these generic grunts are at least good enough to take down Jedi and use Force Lightning. And Kol is able to kill a fairly good amount of them (and Stormtroopers) and only got taken down by a cheap shot from Nihl. Its a shame that's all we have on him, but its hardly a weak showing by any means either.

And adding onto that, you have the fact Kol and Wolf are basically the Anakin/Obi-Wan of pre-Legacy. Master and Apprentice, who stay very good friends after the latter becomes a Knight. They have very good cohesion, so it will be difficult for Kota to break them up. Especially since, while Kol is killed, Wolf gets better at fighting as Legacy goes on. He's even fully capable of fighting Sith with only one arm. I think that balances out for Kota fighting blind (though I would assume he gets his sight back here, considering everyone is at their physical peak in addition to skill/mental peaks).

And speaking of Kota, he's almost as limited as Kol. To my knowledge, we only have his fight with Starkiller the First, and the arena bit. The former is impressive, but I don't think its as impressive as it could be. Kota is the first Jedi that Galen goes up against (I don't count the Proxy training here, since skilled or not, he's a droid), so it wasn't the Vader-beating Starkiller that Kota lost to. Still an impressive fight, but it needs to be viewed through that lens. As for the arena, the most impressive thing about it is he was doing it blind and lasting for an insane amount of time/injuries. There are plenty of other examples of Jedi taking down lots and lots of animals (Starkiller and Rancors, Ulic and Drexl's, Exile and Storm Beasts). The main thing with Kota is how long he kept going, and how many injuries he accumulated (that and going against a Krayt Dragon).

The problem is, that toughness and endurance aren't going to matter as much here. He's fighting two people, so even if he outlasts one of them, the other one is still there trying to kill him. I just don't think he has quite enough to bust this particular trump. Kol/Wolf alone aren't impressive, but together they are one of the best trumps out there (IMO).

Damn, my characters hit the wrong enemies didn't they. What a waste of Plagueis. I'll get some arguments up for Sora vs. Savage, Sidious vs. Talzin (prep) and Krayt vs. Maul later today.
