SWRPF Archive The New Age Episode 1: The Ashes of Deafet

History:

20000 years after the New Jedi order, war has torn the galaxy apart and has left no planet untouched by the grim conflicts. The conflict between the Yuuzan Vong and the Jedi has ended with no side gaining control of the galaxy and leaving many key planets such as Courscant destroyed and empty. Seeking to take advantage of the desperate situation a Sith Lord known as Tarab gathered and trained a sith army on Korribon before setting out on an Intergalactic crusade to cause as much terror and destruction on the galaxy as possible. Since there was no opposing force with enough strength left to battle with the new threat, the sith spread like wildfire across the galaxy.

The previous Vong war had put an end to the New Jedi order and the Galactic alliance but the New Empire had narrowly survived by splitting from the galactic alliance a few years before the wars end. They took their remaining fleet and left the galaxy. Rumors had it that they took control of a large number of planets whose population was Nomadic and begun recruiting and teaching literally millions of people into the Imperial Navy and army. Despite being Nomadic populations there were strong and powerful warriors who had developed techniques and strategies that could still be applied to the present day.

When their preparations where complete they decided to retake the Galaxy from the sith crusaders and launched into another full scale war for conquest of the galaxy. The people of every planet would join in battle with the Empire being the only superpower strong enough to fight the sith. The Sith also began recruiting soldiers from every planet promising power and wealth to every soldier who enlisted. They went by the motto ? Kill what you want, take what you want?. Not surprisingly the sith found themselves engulfed with thousands of soldiers armed with ancient sith weapons which would strike fear into the eyes of an Imperial trooper.

Grand Admiral Thori and General Bejug took notice of the fear of their soldiers and decided to build a branch of elite soldiers which showed no fear in battle and which would execute any order without question. For this they researched into the history of the Galaxy and were inspired by the creation of a Clone army which as indeed the birth of the empire. They paid a visit to Kimino and the creation of an elite army begun.

As for the other smaller factions, the last remaining Jedi retreating to Dagobah where they built a large fortress which contained a Temple and a small city. It is rumored that they also have several other bases spread across the galaxy but this hasn?t been proved. The Jedi believe that they can retake the galaxy in time and rebuild the Galactic alliance but such beliefs seemed like fantasies now. Nevertheless they spend countless hours preparing for battle.

Although the Galactic alliance has been shattered and destroyed many remnants of the alliance gather in small bases on planets such as Dantooine where they refuse to join the Empire and fight losing, almost suicide battles against the Sith.

The Vong can be found in almost every planet in the outer rim. Despite their large population their Military is shattered and communication between Vongs has been lost. Most Warlords and Military leaders have been executed but some small groups continue to fight the sith and the Empire.

The galaxy seems to be filled with scoundrels and Adventures seeking to get involved in the conflicts. Many of these are just groups of friends who have bought ships and fly to distant planets seeking adventure?..


Main Storyline:

Several friends gather on a small ship The Tigers tooth and head to the remains of the planet courscant where they hope to find adventure and excitement. Unfortunately for them, they don?t know what their getting themselves into.
