Thanks for the info and the clip Jeff. I need at least a 10.5 to fit over my fat legs.....
Joann's grand opening!!!! Who's with me???? We can make it a 100% RMFF hang out day
That would be super fun if I'm not otherwise occupied with parents coming through town. I have no $ though....
First 100 peeps get at $10 gift certificate. I hope that's me
I only need a few things but they do raffles too, so you can put your name in and might win $500 wouldn't that be cool?
Ooooooo. I'll have to see when my parentals are coming through. Y'know, once they figure it the %!@# out.
I feel ya, I was asking my sister when would be a good time to fly in to California. What day would be best, she said yes to every date I threw at her and then when it came time to pick me up from the airport she was like, uhm.....
So good thing I had Alison as a backup
They're not coming through till Sunday -- shoot me a text if you're still planning on going and I'll see if I can make it work!
Super deals were had by all & I got some fab fabric that I hope to make into something awesome for a fashion show I want to do in December.
This reminds me... I need to fix my shin armor.
Ladies in need of calf-boots: Ross just got in a bunch of black boots, and most of them have gussets. Some have strappy/buckley things that look easily removable, and prices are around $25 from what I saw.
I have some plastic to do a shim, and a far bigger swatch of velcro to hold it on. My calf is too big for the armor, and it needs to be made bigger.
Hancock's is going out of business in Westy on 92nd/Wads. Sale just started 11/13 so it's still at 20% for the most part but I'm going to go check it out today at lunch to find out for myself!
OMG!! There's still a Hancocks???? I thought the company nationwide went out of business years ago!!! And I just bought fabric at Joann's... oh, well.
There's a Hancock's near my house that is still going strong!
I didn't know where to put this...anyone who wears a size 10 shoe wanna look at what I am ditching before I donate them?

I think this is a first for me to post in this thread.
In honor of the upcoming Skiff float for the parade, I'd like to put together a ROTJ Luke Jedi costume.
(The one on the right).
It doesn't seem too hard, but with somebody like myself with absolutely no skills, I'd need help. Anybody out there who has advice or can help me put together this costume? I have republic credits...

When I stop procrastinating.... I have Bespin Leia, Hoth Leia, back to finishing my Jedi, pay Darth Hair and Sith Chick for my X-Wing Pilot ...
The Maker knows I do enough events that I'll find time to wear ALL TEH COSTUMES.
I dunno. I need something new for Halloween.
This won't help you, but I am selling my Endor Rebel Trooper (complete) and 2 jawas. Drop me a PM if interested.
