1. What is the Amphitheatre for?

TheAmphiteatre is the JC forum dedicated to the Discussion of the Arts. The Arts include Music(both classic and current), Painting and drawing, TV and movies, Books and comics, and much, much more. Please try to give through thoughts though, and not just one sentance comments.

 

2. What kind of threads and/or posts should I post?

Please start a thread that has a point, such as "The [enter name here] Discussion Thread". Do not start threads titled "the [enter name here] fan club!". Fan Clubs are not acceptable here.

While posting, try to keep your posts positive and on the subject matter. Elaborate on your point. Don't just say "This guy rocks!" or "This guy sucks!"

 

3. What is the Diffrence between a "Discussion" thread and a "Fan Club"?

A Discussion thread is where the thread starter provides good information on the subject and gives discussion questions. Replys should be the thoughts of others and why.

A Fan Club is just where the starter posts "This guy rocks! who else likes him?" and replys are usually short. These are not accepted in the Amphitheatre and will be redirected to the JCC.

 

4. Is there a mod for the Amphitheatre?

If you have any concerns, problems, or input about the Amphitheatre, Feel free to pm either RidingMyCaroselOnYou, Lord Bane, KnightWriter or Gandolf the Grey. They are the moderators for the Amphitheatre.

 

5. I have a great idea for a thread. What should I do?

First look through the Amphitheatre Index to make sure there is not already a thread on the topic. Then pm any of the three moderators and ask them how the idea sounds. If they give permission, feel free to start it!
