ST The New Big Three: What's Their Dynamic?

Well based off the way Boyega, Ridley and Isaac have been acting on social media and interviews, I'm assuming their dynamics will be like this image

 

It is possible they could borrow form the EU with use of "Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo" type famliy.

All are force sensitive grandchildren of Anakin Skywalker.

The Brothers have a competitiveness which becomes rivalry then turns into jealousy, one slays the other. (Cain and Able scenario).

(maybe the jealous one idolizes his grandfather and the darkside "awakens" in him.)

Jaina, not as "strong" in the Force (like Leia in the OT) as her brother,s becomes distraught and flees into hiding.

She somehow meets up with Finn who helps her to find Luke who is the only one who can train her.

Luke trains her and in effect "Awakens" the Force in her while having it reawaken in himself at the same time..

With the stress this might cause in the family it would pit brother vs sister on two fronts - Brother Solo vs Jaina (in battle) || Luke vs Leia (intellectually)

Could make for an intense sets of events.

 

I apologize, folks. I was wrong to call this conversation "Stupid." I meant that we don't know anything and it's too raw to call yet. However, after some rethinking, i was premature. Again, i apologize.

I don't know about the dynamic between the three, but...

Leia: As some kind of leader of government, she doesn't really have to do everything herself anymore. She can send in Awesometeam-six in, if she wants. She's got a lot of resources even if she is not head of state, looking at her role in the OT, she will have serious pull. I can't see Leia not remaining part of things.

Han: Probably won't change very much. A little wiser, maybe. The old man who's been everywhere, called to action one last time. Seen everything twice, occasionally annoyed by the exuberance of the younger generation, but identifies with them most. Totally willing to break whatever rules he's been following (or been imposed on him) in his retirement. In other words, Han has changed outside, yet not inside.

Chewbacca: Han's bud, of course, yet the catalyst for Han "going rogue" and helping the new kids in their "damned fool crusade" as he was with Han in ANH ("What are you lookin' at, i know what i'm doing," watch Chewie and Han).

Lando: I don't see Lando as being part of any government. I see him as hitting the battle in ROTJ, collecting accolades, and then exiting stage left. He doesn't really want notice unless it has something with it. He's a rouge, will always be a rogue outside and in. Unlike Han who might change outside, Lando will always be Lando.

The Droids: The same. They can't be anything else.

Luke: Probably the most changed, and the biggest wild card. His companions never really understood him after Bespin and that should continue. We shouldn't know Luke in the first film of the ST. He should feel like an old friend that has changed.

 

So regarding the NEW 3 dynamic, you don't know you say? I kid, I kid...

 

i would like to see another non force user, like Han come into play

 

That's got to be Lando's son in his underoos. I was beginning to think that Rey was Luke's daughter, but with the recent news and the story shapeshifting I'm going to go with Solo daughter at the mo.

None, as the New Big 3 will die in VII and this new trilogy will have the Big 3 back as the main focus.

Hey did they actually say "three young leads?"

Reason why I am asking is because I thought that Dameron was one of the leads. Since he's not really young that wouldn't make sense. I'd be more inclined to go with Rey, Finn, and whatever character Adam Driver is playing. If Driver is playing Kylo Ren, he could be the lead bad guy. He might be the "big bad" or Sith master, but he could be the one with the most screen time.

Apples and oranges I guess, but if it was specifically stated that the leads are young I can't see Isaac's character as one of the leads. Maybe he's more like Wedge.
