The new change in ESB

    In ESB i was watching the scene with the emperor and Vader and i wondered that Lucus changed that Scene for a reason. What i wanna find out is why.

    For starters it wasnt played by Ian McDarmid. As for the actual Dialogue im not to sure. Probably just some small tweaks which he thought would work better.

    Yeah, that pretty much nails it.

    Continuity with the Emperor, by having the same actor in that scene rather than the monkey-eyed woman beforehand, and to make it clear that Palpatine knows who Luke is. Plus that Vader is pretending he doesn't.

    However, we're keeping discussion about this type of thing to DVD Thread #2, so if you'd like to know more try that one, please.
