the new clone wars cartoon?

i saw some artwork to do with this new cartoon.
christ,it looks dreadful!
are they really going with that 'style'?
i don't believe it...first we get two sub-standard movies,now a truly awful looking cartoon series.
i'm sorry,is this some kind of a joke???

well I've only seen one piece of artwork from it at the official SW site, this was a piece of cartoon art of Obi and anakin with some demon behind them. I had heard that it was going to be CGI, which would make sense since they've alraedy got plenty of CGI stormtroopers in Lucas's cyberspace.
I was also surprised to learn that Padme is in it too.

Didn't you like AOTC, I did, a lot better than The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old.. er, I mean The Phantom Menace. But still not as good as the OT.

Where else can i see art for this Clones cartoon?

I agree with Jamie, the guy responsible for Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack makes entertaining cartoons for kids, his style is certainly different and fairly original. You have to see it animated to appreciate it, I don't know, however, whether this style would suit such a "technical" subject as the Clone Wars.

I was hopeful that it would be done by the team that did the batman cartoons. They were really well animated.

These new toons are supposed to be shorts, I do not think that we will have anything as good as Droids.

Just have to wait and see.

i actually love the style of this cartoon - but, I guess it is ruffling many feathers {judging by the amount of site email talking about it anyway}
Still - I guess the test will be the episodes themselves.

i dunno though...as moylesy rightly says,the style just don't suit.
i think that's the problem i have...
