So, someone else is trying to convert the heathens as well. If I might make a suggestion: Drop a link in your profile and then keep playing around here (only one game at a time or so). Make friends, it'll help you divert stuff to your new location and keep the blood from totally stagnating. Plus it's always good to have something to fall back on. And you can scout.

Of course, if you're only playing in one game and still having problems... good luck with that, better work your contact list. One of the problems with small forums is that you have a very small pool to work from, so getting new blood is a pain (though you can set your own rules about appropriateness, which is great).

Yes, I am trying to convert the heathens, but I have not started the burnings...yet.

The suggestion is not a bad one, but we would prefer if we didn't get a whole load of beginners(if we did we would just have to show them how cool D20 is[face_cool]). We want a bunch of people that are devoted to RPing. I understand the Darth RL get's in the way, but at our other place, we hace complete threads devoted to OOC posts to specific games, and there we have announcements and all that crazy stuff.

Also, about scouting, you interested? Seriously, I just started my game and took a bunch of people(from TF.N) I thought would like it, but the whole RPing off-site wasn't the greatest for them.

But yes, I have decided to stay, to play in one game, The Pirates of the Carribean game. I will attempt to scout more, especially since I broke my ankle, and now I get to sit in front of a computer for two months.

All in all, I will keep fighting the good fight.

Ankle breakage would seem to be one of the more dangerous breaks, to me.

I've never broken a bone in my body.

 

I've broken all of my fingers twice.

 

I am also riding around in the Buick Roadmaster Estate that is the I-haven't-broken-a-bone-in-my-life club.

 

I was playing soccer with a bunch of Mongolians and got my right foot caught in a hole. My left foot(the broken one) kept going forward, but it too got stuck in a hole. my left foot twisted completely backwards counter-clockwise...and Vwala, it broke.

 

Throw up a link m'friend...I'd like to check it out...

 

Thinking about that makes me shudder.

 

But that would be advertising... which is bad.
