Math is not my favourite subject. I enjoy some parts of it, like radicals (simplifying, to be exact), but I love art/music/English.

    They're my life.

I think I'm alright in math. I despise it, but Im good. Im a Sophmore and in Algerba 2. I think thats ahead of others, cause like all my peers have Geometery. I can spend like the entire period zoning out, doodling, sleeping, then look at the board and understand the stuff preety quick. My only beef with my teacher is that on her tests she doesn't have enough questions. She has like ten questions on a chapter test so if I miss like 2 problems I get an 80. I kinda want her to have more but its alright.

Math is just really boring though. History and English are a little more interesting because your learning about real stuff instead of numbers.

Current Question I am answering for my Midterm
"Just how easy is it to be tricked into believeing one is awake when one is actually asleep?"

    :D

    I love my job. ;)

Multivariable Calculus 5th edition, by John Stewart.

That's by memory, so hopefully I have the guy's name right.

    Har har LW... :p

    *Sighs*

When the world needs us most, no one wants us...

    Tragic almost...

The Fries Syndrome is something everyone going into the field has to consider, myself included...

Thats why I dual major with something a bit more practical...

*Continues procrastinating posting up my internal rules for my RPG*

    Edit for Angus
I've always considered humanities to be literature, english, history, ethnic studies and the like. As contrasted to the more regimented/applicable fields of Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology and the like.

    You probably mean James Stewart.

The older additions are quite well written and well structured. I used the 3rd edition, and loved it.

I tutored students using the 4th edition, and it didn't quite flow as well.

    Humanities? Science? Math? [face_shame_on_you]

You're all crazy. Art is the best field... (this coming from an animator ;) ) All your favorite stuff falls under the "Art" category: video games, comic books, CG stuff in films... Those are all considered "art". Games and CG are two different kinds of animation, and comic books are drawings. Also architecture, music, fashion, and industrial design (blueprints and designs for cars and the like) are all "art".

I go to an art school, and there are 12 different departments. I just started listing them off. ;)

I miss Uni! I haven't been there for three years now :( I want to go back to studying!

And NP, here in Oz, History is a Humantaries subject, as is Archaeology, Sociology, etc etc. I don't like these 'social science' labels they're using now :p Sounds all...scientific!

    *grabs another drink before thinking again* 8-}

At my school, humanities was the English/Social Studies class for the newbie grade 8's.

I aced both semesters. Then, in grade 9, I totally aced Socials. And English. Things are looking good for this year.

Also, how is geography related to social studies? I think it should be science.

I hate math! I am a nursing student and I have to do some math to calculate dosage and I absolutly hate it. But on the plus side I get to poke people with needles after I figure the dosage ;)

Tyi this is about as nerdy as it gets...and it's great. Don't diss the nerds, a whole army of nerds could take over the world! Hey maybe we should try that sometime :p
