hey we can detour him thru the garrison courtyard and have the soldier in the middle of a simulated run of a Exicution by firing squad, using non lethal weapons.

 

One would hope he realises that bringing a wild animal on board would not result in execution.

As I said, certain crimes are inexcusable, and those in themselves are rare, but we're the Empire, not murderers. And he should know that.
