I don't know. But I can't wait
NJO is the coolest series to come out yet. It totally rocks!!
Hi can I join?
Star By Star comes out October 30. I sooooooooooooo can't wait!
[blockquote]Hmm...I thought there was more fans then this.... Alright!*rubs hands*I'm going to try and resurrect this topic! IS ANYBODY HERE!!!!???? [/blockquote]
Hi! I'm here! Wow. I guess I found a nice community here!
BTW, I also cannot wait for SbS!
BTW, in case you guys don't know of it already, [link=http://www.unjoh.com]unjoh.com[/link] is a great site for various NJO material..
Hey I want to join too! I haven't finished reading them all yet, but I will soon. I'm already spoiled rotten on them anyway. Jacen and Borsk rule!!!
I have a little question- too little to actually start a new thread: On the VP cover, there's a semi-hidden Rebel insignia in the background. On the hardback BP cover, there's the hidden baby.
Does anyone else see a hidden Darth Vader on the Jedi Eclipse cover?? or is it just me?
That's interesting, I'll hafta check it out for myself and get back to you
I've enjoyed the NJO so far. It has some minor room for improvement, but overall it's been a very interesting change from Bantam's books.
now about the Jedi Eclipse cover... the yellowish thing in the upper-left corner is Vader's eye. on the upper-right corner is his breathing grille. all you can see is part of his helmet, which is slanted in this direction: \
Here's a link to the [link=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/books/0345428595/pictures/14/104-7524780-6799166#tab-link]image at amazon.com[/link]- the biggest picture I could find online.
I didn't really think the rebel insignia was hidden on the cover of VP. If anything was hidden on that cover I thought it was the pic of Chewie.
I read an interview with the guy who designed the cover ( I think his name was Cliff Nielsen) and apparently most of the book in the NJO will have some kind of hidden pic on the cover somewhere.
Just a friendly reminder from an oldbie. Try to keep SxS spoilers and stuff in the threads [hl=red]Kadue[/hl] designates for them. I noticed a spoiler up there, and I know you '01ers will want to discuss the newest spoilers and stuff, so this is just a warning to you guys that [hl=red]Kadue[/hl] will probably either edit out your spoilers or lock the topic if spoiler discussion gets too out of hand. Anyways, thanks for listening.
Im in the middle of SbS and it is really good. Most of the books in NJO have been very good.
cool. I haven't read SbS yet.
Hey all, major NJO, Jacen, and Corran fan here. Where do I sign up?
Btw, have you noticed how some people like to bash the NJO? Well, this is just a suggestion, how about we start ourselves a NJO Defense Navy, or something to that effect. "Politely shooting down NJO flamers" could be our motto Anyway, just an idea.
I just started reading the Edge of Victory Duology, and Man! They're cool!
I also got Star by Star
SbS was really depressing, for me anyway.
I agree, it was a real shocker
Doesen't it feel like we're pitifully outnumbered? The NJO critic's club has 43 pages already, and we have a pathetic 2. Anyone have a discussion-starter?
Anybody doing any NJO fanfiction?
Once I finish the EoV duology and Star by Star I'm writing an Anakin/Tahiri songfic.
I'm writing a post NJO fic about Tahiri and Anakin's kid.
I'm writing a songfic to Friends Never Say Goodbye from The Road to El Dorado about A/T. I talked about it in my previous post.
Out numbered? In what page count? Number of posters?
As a NJO critic I'll tell you why it's up to 43 pages:
We talk. A LOT.
Oh and it's been going longer than this thread.
As far as NJO fans go, there are no shortage.
Frankly Sparky Droid stop worrying about nothing.
Though you do raise a good point, no one here is saying anything beyond they're an NJO fan. You need some discussion of why, reaction to events; the problem with that is the bulk of the discussion has already been done over in the Lit forum.
I don't know what the solution is but consider this post a helpful diagnosis of the problem.
So have y'all read Recovery yet?
