I wish Jim would post--I can't go forward until he posts. I'm sure he's real busy, though, so I'm not that bugged. It's just, I go back to school on Sunday, and that limits my online time. Which increases my sleep time, so I guess that's not a bad tradeoff.

What would be reasons that a Force-sensitive child wouldn't go to the praxuem? I've thought of: Parents wouldn't allow it, there's a reclusive Master nearby who will train them, too dangerous, too far.

No, not the Old Jedi Order. You see, I'm working on a fic. A fic on Laine's background--and she was born the year that Skywalker started the Praxueum. And there's all this stuff happening throughout the galaxy, and I'm not sure that her parents would want her and her sister away from them. They like to be family, I guess. I'm not sure. I don't have it all fleshed out yet.

EDIT: That's a good thought, Sel. I hadn't thought of that. He might not like the name of 'Skywalker'. I only have a vague idea and a name for my reclusive Jedi neighbor.

Well, I only have two scenes written--one with the girls running around their parents' ship playing 'Hide and Seek' while practicing shielding and no Force-peeking! and a scene when their parents are dropping off a shipment to a client. Unless you count all the RPing....
