Greetings, Master Darth-Horax!

It is wonderful to have you here. I trust all is well with you?

It's been a year of disasters and craziness.
To make a long story short, my father in law died on a Saturday morning from pancreatic cancer.
That SAME DAY, my family and my in laws and sisters' in law all were evacuated from our houses due to
the Colorado wild fires that were surging. That week became a week of survival as the fires tore through our neighborhood
and destoryed over 350 houses. Luckily, the fire stopped about 40 feet from my house.
Had over $20,000 in smoke damages that insurance covered.
Then my wife's uncle died last weekend due to liver cancer...and now her grandmother is on her last legs, too.

Had to cancel two vacations due to the situation and the deaths, and I've been stressing like crazy. Also putting up with
injuries, etc., from training for my half marathons and whatnot has caused a bit of distress and depression. However, the news
that Disney will take over the franchise has brought me some happiness.

I think with what they have done with POC has shown that they will treat the franchise with the respect it deserves, and I think
it will be ok in the long run.

Absolutely great, Master Rax. So very sorry to hear all that tragic news. Yes, I, too am excited about Disney buying Lukas Films, and I believe SW is in excellent hands.

Now...on to business...what is my current rank as the founder of the trials? Do I need to prove myself or can I get a padawan?

I love how I'm always on the active Knight's list. Nice to know I'm still in your guys' memories.

I'm able to be an actual active and participating member of the Trials now. Moving has been chaotic, but as you can see I have survived it.

I actually don't remember.

LOL. Oh well.

I am interested in joining the Jedi trials but I am not sure what the protocol consists of here?

Any help or guidance is welcomed.

The rules and protocol for joining the trials are all on the first page of this thread. Give it a look over.

New members are always welcome. I look forward, as do the others I'm sure, to you joining us very soon, Hamahiga.

Except that the first page's Initiation task and some of the rules have been affected by Darth Truncated Post.

The Initiation Task Is:

In a paragraph or two, explain why you would like to be a part of the New Jedi Trials.

What the?! The initiation task is no longer on the first page!

Whatever happened to the Jedi Trials I used to know?

Sorry Hamahiga, it seems that I'm a little out of sorts with the way things work around the boards now.

Do I just post the paragraphs here on the boards or do I send it to someone specifically?

When I did the task I had done the paragraphs and posted them here.

You post it here in the thread (the PM system is used for bribes. Usually of cookies, but we're not picky ).
