Whoops, I misread the paperwork. It was a request I fetch a Grande Mocha from Starbucks for Lord Insipid, not that I take over as Grand Master!

I do apologise for any inconvenience and I look forward to our resumption of mutual murder on the morrow.

Fare thee well, Masters of the Jedi. May the Force serve you well.

Sorry Master. I was away for a bit, but I'm ready to get to work.

    Task #3

    The greatest story ever

    Genre: Humor

"And so it came the time where the annual bowling tournament between Jedi and Sith was going to happen soon. I, Padawan Simba, was the leader of the Jedi team consisting of Masters, Fisto, Ti, Unduli, Shan, Windu, Revan and Kenobi. On the Sith side were evil Masters, Dooku, Maul, Sadow, Ragnos, Malak, Sion, Nihilus, and Lord Sidious as the leader. Tensions were high as the Sith wanted the trophy more than anything and the Jedi wanted to keep the trophy they've had for so long. Players from teams were exchanging taunts at each other when it time to play. "Hey guys, shut the **** up!" I said. Trying my best to get my team together. While Lord Sidoius went to the bathroom, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine came over wishing us good luck. After that he winked over at the Sith team, while all of us on team Jedi were so confused. After Palpatine left, Lord Sidoius came back and the bowling started. We were neck and neck with each other, with still no clear victor. Eventually Obi said to me "We have to win, please!' I've been through so much **** in my life and today I just want to win something!" I said "ok". Maul was watching and laughing at Obi, and Obi jumped over and beat the living **** crap out of him. Security was called and Maul was taken to a hospital, while Obi was escorted out of the premises, and banned from ever coming back. After that drama, it was time for the final round. Our best bowler, Fisto was about to drop the ball towards the pins when Sidouis used a little lighting on Fisto's feet causing him to scream in agony. So now it was up to me to win this thing. I bowled the ball and dodged Sidious's tricks and knocked all the pins down and won the game for us. The Sith were ****ed and were fighting with each other. Sidious left and Palpatine came over and congratulated us for winning yet another year. I thanked him, but asked "isn't it strange whenever you appear Sidoius disappears, and when ever you leave, Sidious appears again? Pretty funny, am I right?" Palptine replied, "Um, hahaha, yeah....I'll see you at the restaurant to celebrate." I said, "sure thing. See you there you harmless old man."

    The End? :p

    - Padawan Simba

Life has unfortunately become too busy for me to participate here with any regularity. So it is with a heavy heart that I officially withdraw myself from this noble order. From this day forward, though I will still walk a path illuminated by the light, I will no longer follow in the footsteps of the Jedi but instead follow in the footsteps of heroes such as Jolee Bindo and Ahsoka Tano. Though not a Jedi in name I shall always remain a Jedi in spirit. May the Force be with you all.

    Task #4

    Name of planet: Rondor

    Native species: Rondorians

    Climate: Warm.

What's on the planet: Some cities, along with green areas for farms and such.

Based off my research, the Rondorians are very powerful in the force, and it could be very great Jedi, if we choose to recruit some to the Jedi Order.

Hello, dearest, wonderful Rainbow Knight Star [face_laugh] Guess who this is! ^:)^

    Task 1

I love history and using it to learn and remake a better future. I wish to be of service and encouragement to others. Building up the strengths and fortifying hopes and helping others onto better life choices.

The Jedi have served for centuries and have undergone ups and downs, tragedies and triumphs. It is my wish and hope that when the Force ceases to be dormant, a New Order can arise and be long-lasting and avoid the pitfalls of prior leaders.

    ~~!

    Task #2

There is no emotion, there is peace. Meaning: Emotion can be a guide and a source of intuitive choice, but it can also cripple and serve to entrap one in vicious circles and make one impervious to the broader picture. When one finds a center of serenity and clarity, decisions are more apt to be sound.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. Meaning: False knowledge is just as dangerous as outright ignorance. Accurate knowledge - based on facts and harmonious perceptions - is desired.

There is no passion, there is serenity. Meaning: This relates to a balance. Passion infuses one with joy and purpose, but it can also lead one to an imbalance and be self-destructive. Serenity comes when one has priorities in their proper place.

There is no chaos, there is harmony. Meaning: Society, families, and one's inner self cannot function in a state of chaos. Harmony is necessary.

There is no death, there is the Force. Meaning: This has varied meanings based on one's spiritual stance, but I choose to believe that one's life prospects are tied to and held within and based upon the faith one holdsand how one acts within that framework.

Padawan Simba, I must ask you to redo this task. You did not provide enough information about the planet. This is what I want you to do before you start writing.

    1. Look up a few planets.

    2. Pay very close attention to the details that are given.

    3. Spend some time in meditation concerning this task.

    4. Then begin writing, and take your time.

Concentrate, young one. There is no time limit. I know you can do this. MTFBWY.

    :)

I have been assigned to take you on as My Padawan. Your Padawan name, which you shall use to sign your tasks, during your apprenticeship shall be Padawan Littoral

For your first task, I want you to pick a Jedi who inspires you, write why they do so, and give a brief history of their adventures and accomplishments.

    Hi there, JediMaster1511 - love your siggy [face_laugh] [face_mischief]

OK,this first task was easy because... ;) I am supposed to write about a Jedi I admire & their history/accomplishments. I didn't pick the one I did because he's the best well-known but because he's who he is. [face_love] [face_laugh]

    Luke Skywalker

Why he's inspiring: He has boundless compassion, looks for the good in others and never pushes others to do what he is unwilling to tackle himself. OK, he can be reckless and headlong--but always out of concern/caring for others. Luke does have a tendency to take on the blame for others' downfalls, but is also responsible for the redemption and life-altering choices of others.

    ~!

    History/Accomplishments

We all know of his upbringing on Tatooine, the things he believed about his paternal heritage. :p When it came to light that Darth Vader was his father, what was the first thing he thought to do? Join him? Nah. He wanted to bring out the good in him. I believe that Padme's unabashed belief was something that is echoed here.

Luke started the Jedi Order afresh, both in Legends and in new canon. Lots of false starts but the calamity and tragedy of either continuity was never his fault alone.

In Legends and in New Canon, his sister and brother-in-law are the center piece of his family. He gives and receives support from them and watches the train wreck overtake the Solo child/children. :(

In New Canon, his daughter, Rey(?) [all but a given] - is hidden away on Jakku and he goes into exile, not to sulk but to find the answers to the snares that overtook Kylo Ren. [face_thinking]

In Legends, Luke fought many adversaries, among them Grand Admiral Thrawn, Kueller, and the Yuuzhan Vong. In this fight, for many years, he had the incomparable Mara Jade as reluctant ally, eventual friend, then lover and soul-mate.

    Excellent task WarmNyota_SweetAyesha

For your next task, I want you to pick a planet with a deep history of the Force. Visit it, and explore the surroundings to see what you may learn. I would like to see 2 pictures, and a how the exploration/adventure went.(sort of a short story about the excursion)

Good evening, :) JediMaster1511 -- Tython - so fascinating and rich with history beckoned.

Tython is a lovely world of forests, rivers, and ancient ruins. The Jedi have a long history here. There are ancient temples and a force nexus.

Their two satellites, Ashla & Bogan, symbolize for the Jedi the balance of Light with Dark.

On a recent trip there, it was fascinating to discover the ancient ruins. Some had disintegrated with time, whereas others bore the marks of ancient, long-forgotten battles.

Looking up at the night sky, Ashla and Bogan shed their mingled silverly light on the land below.

Walking beside one of the many crystalline rivers - one basks in the quiet and serenity.

What one learns here - is that even what one considers worlds-changing and shattering falls into oblivion and irrelevance with the passage of time. It truly puts the important things into perspective. Thirst for power - for immortality as to fame and renown - those things are pure futility.

Balance of Light and Dark - of societies, and even within oneself -- that is something that is pertinent no matter where or when you come from.

    Here's my foray on Tython JediMaster1511 & Rainbow Knight Star -- [face_batting]

    ~!
Tython was blossoming. It was their early spring. Red, pink, silver, and light blue flowers dotted the landscape. I had parked my Z95 inconspicuously. I consulted my flimsiplast of the nearest city and river where a cavern with crystals was located. It was a reliable layout as I had acquired it from Star Tours Travel.

My satchel contained a multi-tool, a series of sleeve holdout blasters and ration bars. I had gotten the ones that tasted like chocolate and there was also a thick bed-roll and a thermos full of hot chocolate.

I frowned as I saw speeder bikes whizzing by overhead. That was the second patrol in the past half-hour. What were they looking for?

I made good travel time that day and was within 2 klicks of my desired destination.

I heard a rustling in the bushes beside me and suddenly a creature with leathery scales and six toes leapt out. I snatched out the blaster I’d had secreted up my right sleve and shot it squarely. It toppled to the ground. Yuck, I hated things with scales and multiple arms, like arachnids.

The rest of my journey occurred without incident, thankfully. I found a cavern and a beautiful crystal of softest silver, like moon-dappling on the lake I had frequented back home. Another was a rich emerald green.

I set to work on setting them into the hilt of what would be my double-bladed lightsaber. After hours of focused concentration, I tested the heft and the potency. I pressed the activator and a satisfying hum and lovely blended radiance filled the cavern. I was delighted.

My gifts lay more towards healing and empathy than warfare. I was training under Master Katia and I knew she would be thrilled.

It was she who had sent me on this mission, to this very place.

I was just about to leave when something cuboid caught my attention.

I gasped. A holochron. Dare I touch it?

I pocketed it. Better let the archivists take a look.

    ***~~

When I returned to where I had secreted my transport, I “awoke” my astromech, R3. “Well, Cupcake, what’s doing?” I asked.

R3 blooped and burbled. I read the translation on my ‘padd. So that was what those scouts had been looking for: poachers of the threatened avians nearby!

When I returned to the temple, the archivists did unearthe the holochron’s contents. It was of a Master Lindal Vail, who spoke of many interesting things such as something called the Potentium and Unity. I shrugged. Let the philosophers puzzle out those arcane details.
I had further studies and training to do, particularly in the healers’ ward.

Who would be in Room Nine this week, I thought with a chuckle. It still had Knight Kenobi’s name engraved on the doorframe.
