So there is a rumor of a Yoda feature film being the first spin-off/standalone Star Wars movie. A couple reasons why I think it could be true:

Frank Oz is still alive

Yoda's backstory has been off limits in the EU which may be because George has a story he's been saving

 

Yoda is on twitter. I didn't think he could use his thumbs that much.

 

Maybe he got that software that types for you

 

He says Brad Pitt is going to play him in the movie.
