It's going great. I'm having fun and learning a lot. I now have so many friends, that I can't count them all on both hands. I'm learning how to cook. My instructor believes in making everything from scratch like pizza. I haven't learned how to make pizza yet, but that lesson is coming up soon.

Have we had a Yoda/pizza discussion yet? How high would he toss the dough? What toppings would he use? Would Yoda even eat pizza? Does anyone care?

yeah, isn't it amazing how stuff like that is just out there? I had just randomly googled "yoda and shrooms" and that immediately came up I think the vid makes great use of Yoda's actual head movements in that scene

Who's seen the new trailer for SW7?

Interesting lightsaber.

 

I've seen it! (uh, *cough* "several" times)

I thought it was good as teaser trailers go

Not sure if Frank considers the trailer a spoiler so here are my initial thoughts:

yes, the lightsaber did look interesting (though I guess a lot of people think it wouldn't work?)

I liked seeing the way the Boyega character "popped up" in the beginning!

I liked the round ball-droid (looks and sounds)

I liked the look of the female character (Daisy Ridley?). I could immediately see her as Leia's daughter (echoes of Leia on the speeder bike in ROTJ) (if she is in fact supposed to be Leia's daughter...I haven't been following the spoilers/rumors that closely)

I thought the Falcon looked a little different (too "thin" maybe?) but still good.

I wondered which character was doing the voiceover

I loved the way the X-wings looked speeding over the water

So, all in all, a "thumbs up" for me...what did you think, Lea?

 

I've seen it three times and I wasn't disappointed can't wait for next December.

What shall we call you around here now for short...CY...Chance? Chancy? any preferences?

 

Chance sounds fine, by the way which actor do you think is going to be one of the villains? My money's on Serkis.

 

I don't have a real strong idea on this as I haven't been following the rumors etc too closely, but yeah, I would say Serkis would be a good bet along with

Hey everybody!

Chancellor Yoda, I love the name change! (I also think Chance is an excellent nickname.)

As for the teaser... I loved it. I feel like I should say, though, that some of our members (not me ) are going stone-cold spoiler free, and that extends even to the cast and other official announcements. Please have a heart. Use spoiler tags.

 

Sorry I forgot about that. But I still loved the trailer and I can't wait for December. Oh and happy two today's after thanksgiving, forgot about that.
