Pensivia I really enjoyed Rogue One much better than I thought it would be and found most of the characters engaging! the droid in particular was so funny!

if I was to have one niggle, I would like to have seen more outlandish planets, a lot of the Planets were TFA-ish and I would like to see them branch out a bit more like ROTS's Felusia and other PT planets. I hope Disney does this going forward

 

Glad you enjoyed R1 Dandelo! I agree--the droid was my favorite new character (along with Chirrut). Also agree with you 100% about wanting to see more fantastical/PT-style planets! Hopefully Ep VIII will deliver some of those!

 

What was that one location that wasn't even a planet? The one we first see Cassian at.

 

Not 100% sure but I think it was something like two asteroids connected by something (can't remember the name now)...

 

I read that as "two astro droids connected by something"

I thought "I need to see this movie again"

now I think: "I need sleep"

 

I did a quick search and on Reddit someone referred to the connecting space station/trading outpost as the "Ring of Kafrene"...

have no idea if that's right or not though

Talk to someone about this today, I did. Suggest they did that plural "The Last Jedi" could be. One of those words it is. Spelled the same as the singular, the plural is. Moose, sheep, and deer, other words of this kind are.

Personally I think Yoda was on the verge of beating Palps, but was unlucky. I wouldn't mind seeing a Yoda prequel standalone.

 

I think it was a stalemate. I didn't see an advantage for Yoda or Palpy. If anything, Yoda was wearing down.

 

And Palpy had soldiers waiting in the wings.

 

It was his biggest, bestest day. But he still couldn't defeat Yoda.

 

if you look at it philosophically Yoda couldn't have beaten him anyway. The prophesy said the chosen one would do it,

so by that stance it doesn't matter whether Yoda and a million Jedi went after him, it was destined for Sidious to be killed by no other person than Anakin.
