My science experiment didn't work, I unpacked and the flood warnings alarmed on my phone in the middle of the night.

We packed everything back up and nothing happened.

Well my yard looks like Lake Lea including the underside of the house. It's still iffy.

Life really has happened. Randy is sick, and we had to move again. I lost my job, so we couldn't afford to pay the rent at the house where we were living, so we moved to an apartment.

It feels so good to be back.

@Lea-El...did you come through that flooding ok last month?

 

Yes I survived the floods and the storm this month. The quadruple bypass was a little more of a problem.

And you thought I was playing hooky.

Haven't got to see Solo yet. Just didn't have the heart to see it.

I think you will enjoy Solo when you see it. Overall, I found it fun! There are definitely some good Chewie moments as well as some good Lando moments! If you care about spoilers, watch out around here (JCF in general) though as the spoiler tag "restrictions" were lifted last Friday I think...

The medicine has stopped working for Randy's stomach. He had some tests done, and he has Diabetic Gastreses. That means that his Diabetes has done so much damage to his stomach that when Randy eats, his food can not digest properly. He gets sick right after he eats each meal. We have to wait until the 24th of this month to see the doctor.Our primary doctor told Randy that the next step would be a feeding tube.

 

Moved again we have. Much too quiet this place has become.

 

Only so much to discuss about Yoda, there is.

Hello my Yoda friends. Been a while since I or anybody has posted here. I have a cardboard cutout of Yoda (approximately life-size) and I introduced him to my 21-month great nephew today. He wasn't too interested, but at least he wasn't scared. I lied and told him that he wasn't real, though we all know that Yoda and the Star Wars universe are very real.

I have bad news too. My husband died in March. We are doing good, one step at a time, one bite at a time.

 

To put one in the positive column for YFCers, I gained another niece since we last caught up. New babies still look like Yoda to me.

 

Congrats on the Yoda baby niece. I didn't know our species could inter breed.
