ST The New Resistance Base in TLJ

Gotta say I love the design of whatever this place is. Could it be a Resistance space station where they regroup after leaving D'Qar? Gives me some mad Buzz Lightyear of Star Command vibes.

 

Is this is a base or a ship?

 

Whatever it is - Leia is obviously the boss there

 

For some reason I think it'll be a ship.. Will they really have time to relocate a base by the beginning or middle of the movie? unless they had another base already...

 

Maybe a space station. I'm still sure there's going to be a time skip fairly early in the movie, so plenty of time to relocate.

 

What makes you think that?

 

Rey and Luke's change of clothes making her look further into her Jedi training, the Resistance base on Crait etc.

 

I'm loving the base. It looks like a nice natural progression in design.

 

I think it's a big capital ship. Which may serve as HQ for a while.

But doesn't the Resistance eventually relocate their base to the planet Crait? Or do we think that there's only a Resistance mine there, which supplies them with cash?

 

Someone speculated that it's the Home One but I'm not so sure about that.

That photo with Leia's feet up on the dashboard....did Ello Asty walk off that explosion during the trench run at Starkiller Base?

 

It better look sexy.

 

The Resistance does have an MC80 called Echo of Hope. I assume that it will be in the film.

At the end of TFA there is another Abednedo when rey leaves

 

The interiors certainly look Mon Cal

 

I love a good Mon Cal ship, so I hope that's what it is. Maybe Raddus arrives and saves everyone's butts again.

I hope we get a Tales of book following the adventures or mis-adventures of the members of the Resistance/New Republic on D'Qar and this new base.
