Geez I take a day off of TFN and the first thing I read is about an Evil Catapult to go along with the Evil Castle.

We seriously need some official real news. This Kyle guy, he seems pretty fake and is probably just making stuff up.

It's the associated merch where the veil of secrecy starts to slip.

 

Being as how this is space and futuristic looking, castles and catapults are kind of putting me off. Who knows though...

...In a galaxy far, far away. I think we can assume, from a LOT of examples, they are waaaay more advanced in warfare, travel and lots of everything. Given there is no earth or Milky Way reference, we have no idea how far along they are in regards to space/time. Again, just my opinion this is...

 

That's because we have no castles left on Earth. What with our advancements in technology we decided that they were not modern enough and bulldozed them to the ground

 

Not to mention why can't a 'new' castle exist in 'future'?

I would not call massive spoilers to that. Is basically what we know or suspect with the exception on this version Poe has more weight.

Poor Han will end on this movie, I´m afraid.

 

how massive are we talking about before I click it? Deaths? details on conflict resolution?

 

Just as R2 belonged to Leia until Luke came into possession of him, BB could lose her master and be found by Rey.

it is also different in the Finn elements which are dissimilar from the preceding Finn rumors (not just Poe). .

If you have read the rest of the rumors, these won´t surprise you. They talk a bit more about what Poe does on the first part of the movie.

 

alrighty, I will click then. I'm more or less okay with act 1 type stuff...but I'd rather not be spoiled on the ending if I can avoid it.

 

True nothing particularly new, but they do suggest the rumors of a character's death are probably true.

SW7's rumors sounds like a set up for Finn to get in the good graces of the heroes only to plot twist that's been old since Indy 3 betray them. Oh, a rebel is captured and then saved by a convenient assist? Awesome! This totally can't end with the guy letting you lead him to the MacGuffin and then double-double crossing you!

Hyperbole of course, and nothing so far has suggested this is the case. Still, the mere possibility worries me.

 

Hmm. Nothing there I would call huge. And I note how he points out that his source is supporting things that a lot of the posters in the Cantina (the forum of that same site) have been discussing. Right...

Hmmm yep, it would not make much sense to start on the planet, move to a Star Destroyer above the planet, and crash again on the same planet.
