That's fine. I want to see a GREAT Star Wars movie, basically something that hasn't happened since I first saw The Empire Strikes Back - A movie that also bent the rules of storytelling and challenged the viewers' expectations. Seriously, by December I'll be thinking "Let's do this" because I'm ready to be blown away.

That's true, I think I may have helped coined the Doom Squad and the Cult of Luke, which didn't go down particularly well. I did attempt to balance it out by referring to JJ and LK as Han-boys.

TFA could be the worst film ever. It may be the best. Acting as if it's either at his stage seems unwise.

 

I think it means we will be sheep to the slaughter.

 

Those who will accept anything and everything Star Wars - from here on - even a film that will have Luke show up at the end are, IMO, .............SHEEP.

2. When Rey and Chewie goes to see Luke, she is in the piloting seat, Chewie is the co pilot.

 

Executives with careers on the line are signing very large checks. It's not surprising that Harrison Ford is featured.

I understand criticism, but take me for example. I weighed all of the possibilities with how these leaks will play out and pretty much every scenario I thought up came back to: "But if the narrative and direction is handled well within context it will be great."

I was upset with the Luke idea initially but I re-evaluated myself asking if I trusted JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan's skills and basically: I do. They're powerhouses that have proved themselves prior and damn well know the risks they're taking. They've put enough thought into it and if you really doubt their skills, I implore you to take a look at what you find to be exciting, good storytelling.

 

Two is the minimum, though. Opening titles. End titles.

Again, Luke's theme is the Star Wars theme. It's the first thing you hear at the beginning of every Star Wars movie, as soon as the logo starts receding, and the first thing you hear as soon as the movie ends.
